It's breathable material allows me to go all day without excessive sweating. The design is simple, yet practical, with the added pockets where I can store my gum and small change, without having the need for a purse. There is one issue that I have with these shorts. The lining rides up on my legs while running, and it can get a little bit uncomfortable. Another great perk is that they wash well, without snagging or fading. Overall, I love and definitely recommend these shorts! They are sleek, comfortable, and sweat resistant!

The fit is true to size, although they are a little difficult to get over the hips, once on they are comfortable and breathable. They are made extremely well, have a generous amount of pockets, and a comfortable drawstring. The fabric is polyester and spandex so it’s super stretchy and soft. I like the coverage these shorts provide. They are really nice to run and exercise in, plus they look really nice. All in all, these are a great pair of shorts. They fit true to size, they are comfortable, breathable, and they look super nice! I wouldn’t change a thing about them.
Runs small but great closet addition!

The breezy overlay is a nice touch over the longer shorts, and they are very comfortable! I know they are supposed to be a bit tight, but these are a solid size smaller in my case - so I would advise sizing up. I wear them a fair bit now, but would never take them off if I had a size up. I just got back into running after 2 babies so I love having all the pockets in the waistband - for both casual mom wear and for running. I appreciate I am not constantly pulling down the under shorts like I do with other brands. I would recommended the brand & shorts!
Great Fit and Plenty of Pockets
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shorts fit comfortably, and I appreciate that the liner short stays in place eliminating the threat of chafing. They are lightweight and comfortable and will be my go to for walks, hikes and chasing kids around the park. They have versatile pockets around the entire waistband allowing plenty of space for whatever you need. I fit my phone, keys, wallet, a little first aid kit, two granola bars and still had half the pockets free. I tested these out around the house (some jogging included) because we are in deep snow right now, but I look forward to wearing them for worry-free movement on warm summer days!
Well designed shorts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] High quality materials and construction. Swimsuit thickness tights for the inner layer + lightweight mesh shorts on the outer layer. Waistband is supportive with good storage options without being constraining. There are two small pockets, one on each hip, with overlapping flap to keep things (keys) secure. I have a smartphone with a pretty big screen and it still fits in the center back pocket. Inner drawstring isn't really necessary, but nice to have. I usually wear a size 0 or 2 in pants and a small fit me perfectly. Style-wise, it's nothing groundbreaking--but very functional!
Small Waist, Large Shorts, Fab Pockets
Great shorts overall but the sizing is a bit off because the waist is pretty snug compared with the overly roomy inner shorts. I got XS and the waist is borderline tight (good when running but I can’t wear them casually without getting uncomfortably squeezed after a bit) whilst the inner shorts have zero compression. The extra fabric wrinkles where it’s too loose at the upper thighs/crotch area. The pockets are fantastic and the build quality is outstanding so I’m hoping that the fabric is light/flexible enough that the extra fabric doesn’t chafe on longer runs (>90min). Great waistband storage system and lightweight outer layer that actually looks flattering!
Functional and comfy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not my usual style of running short, but I'm glad I gave it a chance! The inner tight felt comfortable but not restrictive. It also made it more versatile for use in other parts of my normal exercise routine. What I loved most was all the pockets. There are 3 along the back waist: 1 larger mesh and 2 smaller pockets. They're large enough to hold most of what I normally might carry in a run or to the gym. Highly recommend!
Comfortable, but runs small

I ordered a small in these and they fit pretty snug which is disappointing. It???s nice that they have some pockets at the top of the shorts to store keys/phones/etc. Overall I would say they are comfortable shorts, the fabric is soft, I don???t know if I would get another pair in the future though.
Comfortable breathable running shorts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these Brooks 2-in-1 running shorts! They are versatile, breathable and do not ride up when you run. I love the band along the waist, it is tight enough to keep them in place, but not uncomfortable. There are also some great mesh pockets both in the front and back as well as along the sides so you can store your keys, phone, etc. The 3” is the perfect length and I love the black color because it goes with everything and makes the shorts incredibly versatile beyond running. Overall the fabric is soft and stretchy, so they are comfortable for all-day wear or long runs. The spandex shorts underneath give some stability and also are nice for a post-run stretch at the gym or in a public place where you don’t feel too exposed. There is a drawstring inside in case you want to adjust the fit of the waistband. The shorts do run true to size. Overall these are the perfect everyday running or exercise shorts!
Great for Runner Getting Back in the Swing
