Pretty Impressive Shoe

As a winner in your survey, I was invited to pick any shoe free of charge. I have hilariously deformed feet-some pretty ugly Flintstones that were crushed in a thirty foot fall twenty years ago. They hurt always and wearing shoes is a painful experience. These are the first shoes that I can wear all day, and I’ve gone from maxing out in a five block walk to cruising for five miles! Sweet shoe! My only criticism is that the tongue could be a bit wider as I’m not fully protected from the laces, but I do have an extensive amount of hardware in my ankles, making them wider than most. I’d definitely recommend this product as a great walking shoe.

Super Comfortable; Top Layer Material Thin (Holes)

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever purchased. As a teacher, I'm always on my feet and these are perfect. My only complaint is that I've had these shoes for less than a year, and there are holes in the tops of both shoes from my toe. Yes, I cut my nails.

Another homerun from Keen!!!

I have not bought a pair of "athletic" shoes in a very long time. I was in need of a pair and having owned 2 other pair of Keen shoes that were awesome led me to order the new WK450 walking shoes. Not only do they look fantastic but are extremely comfortable! The Keen Curve technology literally puts a "bounce" in every step. They are lightweight and breathable which are big pluses. I have enjoyed wearing these and would highly recommend.

Yes and no!

I love the way they feel for all day use and my daily 5-6 mile walk. Unfortunately part of the sole began to detach (see pic). I glued it back on and so far it seems to be holding. We will see how it goes.

So far, so good

Based on other reviews, I bought a men’s version in order to have a bigger/wider toe box to accommodate bunions and resulting angled toes. I’ve only worn them once so far, around the house and running some errands. The “rolling” or “rocking” motion felt a bit strange at first, but I quickly got used to it. My bunions rub just a tiny bit, but I think that will ease with wear; my smaller seem to have enough room. I’ll need to do a racer’s lacing in order to keep secure around my foot/ankle for real walking, but I’m hopeful these will be a good option.

Super Comfortable for Golf Caddie Wear!

I wasn’t sure if this “rocker” sole would be comfortable for caddying, but I liked the idea of lots of cushioning. Turns out that these shoes are completely awesome for walking 9 miles while carrying a 30 pound golf bag. My feet feel like I’ve been on a short stroll; no pain whatsoever. I’m a fan of these shoes, and might buy a second pair if they’re available for a similar price.

Good walking and running shoe, too!

Bought these along with several other walking / hiking shoes to try out. The curved sole through me off the first few times I wore them, even lost my balance and ending up siting back down on a sofa I was getting up from. After several week, they became my favorite shoe, even to run in. I have a wider foot than normal, but not of the EE variety, & these fit perfectly. I started running, and the curved surface makes a running stride comfortably, the padding more than adequate. Best shoes ever!

Far superior to the WK400

I tried both this shoe and the 400 -- but not at the same time. I bought the 400 first. I instantly hated it, but I kept trying to make it work, after reading some glowing online reviews. The 400 is more like a prototype and the 450 the final, fully realized iteration. I love this shoe. It does make walking a pleasure, and it feels more stable and elegant. The 400 feels bulky, as if it will make you fall--the stack height is insane; it almost feels ridiculous to wear it. This one you don't want to take off your feet. This one looks 10,000X better too. The amount of cushion is perfect: you still feel in contact with the ground, but also comfortable protected. I live in NYC and walk around 10 miles a day; this is THE perfect shoe for that. Honestly, it's the only shoe I have found that's perfect for that.

Keen Strikes Again!

For the 4th time, yet another pair of Keens is perfect. This new-to-me design, with its roll-your-step bottom, is fabulously ensuring my correct heel-to-toe step so when I walk 10 miles / 16km a day through cobbled castle-town streets, my feet still feel good at the end of the day. I have "EE" wide feet and the normal width is amply wide in this shoe. I'm sold on the round-bottom concept. Give it a try.
