Comfortable right out of the box

I decided to take a chance on these because of the great sale price and am so happy I did. I run between an 8 in most shoes, but 8.5 in hikers to make room for thicker socks - I went with 8.5 in these and they are extremely comfortable, the toe box is generous but does not feel sloppy (I have bunions - not an issue in these shoes). Comfortable right out of the box. The color is lovely. Only complaint, like so many shoes these days, the laces feel flimsy compared to the quality of the shoe. I have worn Keen's climbing Mt. LeConte, and Merrell's on Katahdin, but I think I may be an Oboz girl now.

Not the right fit

I really wanted these boots to work for me because they were just the right mid size over my ankle but not too tall. It was my second Oboz shoe purchase. Unfortunately they were too tight fitting on the top of my foot near the toe box leaving no room for my feet to swell up during longer hikes or for padded hiking socks. Loved the color and style.
