GOOD: The width of my widest foot at the row of bones connecting toes to foot is close to 3.75"+ . the actual footed of these shoes are wider than that. so there are no calluses on the sides of toe bendy area. The mid foot arch area is also wide plat form, but I didn't measure. so from that perspective, these are awesome shoes for wide feet. the drop is 6mm, but to me wasn't high feeling nor flat, so I figured just right. no pronounce arch support, so I traded out manufacturers insole and put in my custom inserts. No problems from doing that, so probably ok to use whatever inserts you need. The stack height for me felt felt great, bouncy type cushion, similar feel to a brand A with 3 stripes boost. but for technical trails it was OK lateral movements but I didn't really want to go fast, but then these are a "hybrid " so fair enough. the stack also widened from where it connects to fabric to shoe bottom, so pyramid like, which did add to stability on sloping, or guttered trail, up to a point. BAD: I got both the Lazer and the Black colors. And swapped out each for each trail, and by the end of 5-6 weeks the area of the upper had stretched out to where the laces met each other and I couldn't lock down the mid foot area anymore. my last trail outing ended up with my basically walking back bc I had so much lateral movements in arch mid foot area I nearly slipped sideways and fell, despite the widened stack. so today both pairs were returned to REI. thank you REI for your great return policy. I had briefly thought about keeping them for just street shoes, but I really need trail running shoes and needed the money for that. Not sure about Craft, after thus happened I read up on their shoes and yeah, other people in reviews mentioned the stretching out, so I wasn't abusive to the shoes. NEUTRAL: I normally wear 9 but I followed recommended "thumb width" at toes. So I had the 9.5's, I don't think it would have made a difference on the stretching. But IF you have wide, high volume feet, these could work for you. my feet though wide and flat feet are low in volume, so that may have contributed to the quick amount of time that these stretched out. I noticed I was having to tighten more about every 4 days. I ran/jogged daily 2x a day anywhere from 1 mile to 4 each time. I'm l around 140 lbs, so not too heavy. BTW these shoes do look good though. hopes this helps if your deciding on shoes.
