Better than Sunblock

I am a huge fan of these suits. We spend a ton of time at the lake and they help so much with the sand. I also love knowing all of our babes are safe from the sun.

Adorable and love that my kids can match!

Love this sun suit for my 9 month old. He has sensitive skin so the less sunscreen the better while still keeping him safe from the UV! It’s also adorable and such nice fabric! Will definitely be purchasing more!

can’t recommend it enough

Our kiddo lives in this thing during a summer in AZ, we soak her down for bike rides to dinner and get to ditch the fight of constantly applying sunscreen knowing we can get a touch more protection with this

This Sunsuit gave me so much peace of mind

This Sunsuit gave me so much peace of mind on our recent beach vacation - especially in light of so many children's sunscreen recalls in recent years.

Beware this company's health disinformation.

I was delighted to get this for my niece & spare my sister the stress of repeatedly slathering so much sunscreen on her — until the item arrived and I read the copy on the tag boasting that it protects kids from sun "without exposing them to the toxic chemicals found in sunscreens." Excuse me?! What on earth "toxic chemicals" is this even referring to — especially given that kids' sunscreens aren't even chemical sunscreens at all but are generally physical/mineral formulations? And why is REI supporting a company that peddles such blatant and dangerous health disinformation that discourages people from taking one of the most obvious, necessary, low-effort and harmless steps to protect their kids? This should go without saying, but: Sunscreen is absolutely necessary and is not toxic to children, and without it, sun exposure absolutely risks causing cancer — even this full-length suit won't protect kids' hands, feet or face. Anyway, I'm returning this suit. I can't support such a company and don't trust that its UPF rating can be legit if its basic claims about sun protection are so demonstrably false.
