REI Cancelled my Order
I ordered these buds from REI on Dec. 30, on sale for 59.95. On Jan. 1, I received a cancellation email, stating, in part: "Due to an unexpected inventory issue, the item(s) below from order #A********* have been canceled. Your card has not been charged, and any gift cards or Total REI Rewards applied to these item(s) will be refunded. We're sorry for the inconvenience. Need a replacement? Use the coupon below to save 15% on one full-price item." When I checked REI's website, the buds were still available, but for $99.95. I ordered from a competitor, who still had them on sale for $59.95. Very poor CX. Want to know how the buds are? The are the nicest buds I have owned with the exception of of the fit, which is comfortable, but not very secure. I would say they are inappropriate for active sports, like walking down the street. you’ll love these if you one have hearing in 1 ear
Out of the box these worked great 1-2x. After that the left side does not pair. The sound is great whenever Jupiter is in retrograde or whatever turns this thing on. Would not recommend unless you’re into frustration
Sounds great, controls need work
They do sound great. It's easy to find myself jamming out, even on tired old hits from the 70s. And they are very comfortable, even after wearing them all day. Battery life is great. Controls are less than ideal. Have to dig out the phone to adjust the volume (so that's like every track). "Ambient Aware" and "Noise Cancelling" are indistinguishable. Too many other adjustments. I only need Volume, Pause and Play. I paid for these with my dividend. I'm not sure how I'd feel about it if I paid actual money.
LOVE these. Almost all the time
These are AMAZING. Noise cancelling, the microphone works incredibly well when I'm on a call, and they stay in my ears (I normally struggle with ear pods- these are actually the first I've ever been able to continue using. Usually they keep falling out, or I can't run or walk over a street drain because I'll be afraid they fall out.) Sound quality is fantastic. I love the water resistant feature (I was farming 6 hours a day in the rain with these- I had on a hood but they still got a little damp). After about 6 months of heavy use, the right ear stopped charging. A few weeks later it worked again, then went out again. Now it's working again, but it's not 100% reliable. However, I've always had one ear working at any given time and usually only wear one at a time, so this hasn't effected by experience (though is why only 4 stars).
Tune Flex Earbuds Worthwhile Getting Used To
At first, it was hard to use after always owning iPods, took some learning but now the sound quality made the process of learning worthwhile. Pulling the pods out of their case is tedious and the right rubber ring has to be chosen for the units to not fall out of ear! The APP gives options to adjust audio EQ and reveals a much more sophisticated listening device. The price was most excellent :)
charging issue, fit sub par, noise cancelling okay
Purchased these last year. So far have had the following issues, 1. Bluetooth connection stays on even when in the case. 2. Right ear bud no longer charges. 3. Fit for ear is subpar and if working out or doing anything active will fall out. 4. Noise cancelling is okay, it will inject noise if noise cancelling on but no background noise to cancel. Battery life when it can charge isn’t bad.
good quality, but earpieces suck
Might be the shape of my ears but it’s always the left earbud that eventually falls out as I move around. The rubber pieces are too shallow for a reliable fit. If the rubber pieces were deeper and a little more solid like the ones on AirPod pros maybe it would be less prone to slipping out. Just because of the lack of fit, I wouldn’t recommend.
Good earbuds
Great form factor. Ear buds stay in your ear good. Charge lasts a while. Good sound quality not a ton of bass but good balance. Earbuds are kinda hard to get out of the charging pod but otherwise great earbuds
Earbud likes to be out of ears!
Earbud is unstable in ears, keeps loosing grip, all the touch buttons are in wrong spot, each time I tried to push the bud back into my ears modes keeps changing. Highly uncomfortable in the ears.
