Tires don't fit
I've been changing mtn bike tires for decades, usually without needing tire irons at all. It took two people and all of our strength to mount one of these tires to a proper rim that had old Specialized tires that came off with no effort. We could only get the second tire ½ mounted using all the strategies & tricks and couldn't get the tire fully mounted. It took maximum effort to get that ½ tire off so I can return it. I'll probably have to cut the tire that is fully mounted off the other rim. Why? Because if I get a flat I won't be able to take it off myself, away from home, to fix the leak. I measured the bead-to-bead distance on the old tires and compared to these Vittorias and the diameter is at least ½" less than the Specialized. Unless you like pain and frustration, skip these tires. I hate to pay to return this useless product.
