Awesome snowshoeing and winter hiking pants

Excellent pants for snowshoeing and winter hiking. For me they are comfortable in the 10 degree to 35 degree range. For temperatures colder than 10 degrees I would wear longjohns like a Patagonia Capilene 2 weight. Good wind resistance but still breathable. The legs vents are AWESOME. The vents allow you to quick dump excess heat on steep uphills or in blazing sun. Fit is true to size. The fabric is soft and comfortable but still tough. Not all softshell fabric is equal. My last pair of Mammut softshell winter pants are in great shape after 10 years, while a pair from another well known brand has started to pill. So I expect these pants to last many years and prove to be a great value. Highly recommended.

Very satisfied

Using these currently for windy cold wildlife surveys. Material is on the thicker side. Kept me warm in 20° with 20 mph winds outside all day without base layer. I'm not european thin and the fit and stretch are nice and provide good range of motion. Would likely be good for hiking and Xc ski on much colder sunny blue bird days, or if ur not very cold tolerant. can't vouch for waterproofness quality as it hasnt snowed much yet.

I. Love. These. Pants.

These are absolutely fantastic pants for cold weather, and also just fine indoors thanks to the surprisingly effective vents on each leg. The outside is a soft shell material with DWR, nothing particularly special there. The inside is a soft and cozy fleece, these pants are so comfy that I lounge in them too! My only quibble is that they only come in one inseam length, and it's too long so I had to get them tailored. Knocked off a star for that, but they're still awesome pants.

Fantastic addition to your closet

These are great for those 32f and below days, and you can skip the long thermals! Overall well constructed and with some excellent features, including side vents and belt loops. I've worn them (with gaiters) for summiting Colorado 14ers in the winter. My wife got jealous so I ended up getting her a pair too.

Very warm comfortable, stretchy with ventilation zippers. Use for winter hiking and Nordic skiing with temperatures below 20.
