These were more like 70’s running shorts, the medium will fit a size 8 well. They are made of a very lightweight material and should dry quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for a recent vacation and this swimsuit made me not dread going to the beach. I felt so comfortable and confident. I do wish there were pockets with a zipper or Velcro to keep money or cards.

Great shorts
Very flattering and comfortable. I am petite and curvy. I was worried that they would give me a muffin top or roll up my thighs, but they fit really well. I might use them as running shorts, too.
I purchased these swim shorts
I purchased these swim shorts in the past from a department store, and after a couple of years of use they needed to be replaced. Fortunately I found them online as I really like the fit, style, and color (black and white). They are comfortable, flattering and go well with my swim tank tops. The flexible elastic waistband is great, but make sure that the shorts are hand washed (like the wash directions dictate) or the waistband can get stretched out or misshapen. I only wish the product was made in the USA and not China.
Easy to wear swim shorts.
These swim short come with a built in swim bottom which is nice and hard to find. They are very comfortable, great for kayaking and casual swimming. I bought them on the loose side because I was looking for something more like shorts for kayaking. I could have sized down for more of a bathing suit fit.
Perfect fit!
Perfect fit! I usually have a very difficult time buying clothes online as I am between sizes and am pear shaped. I followed the sizing guide and bought a medium with my fingers crossed. (I am 5'3" and weigh 125#). These shorts are flattering and comfortable. The leg opening is just the right amount of looseness. Highly recommend.
Awesome swim shorts

These swim shorts are perfect for anyone alil self conscious about their butt, hips and thigh area. I’m 160-165 lbs I ordered a large and there a little bit loose around the waist but fit perfectly around the butt hips and thigh area. They’re the perfect length. Very comfortable do not ride up. The quality is top tier! I expect them to last a very long time!

In addition to being awesome swim shorts they are comfortable enough to wear all of the time. I am 5’5” and weight fluctuates between 140-170. Size L works for me, but I just upgraded to XL for a little more room. With my last order (8 or so years ago) all of the grommets fell off the shorts when washed, but these seem to be better construction with this order.
