Great jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] More than I expected. Some reviews reported that it lacked warmth. I skied many low temps (<15 degrees) with wind and with only light and medium baselayer it kept me warm. I appreciate the conveniently located pockets and effective hood.

Too big but a very nice jacket. Had to return.

Too big but a very nice jacket. Had to return. Very disappointing seeing that the reviews all said that it runs small but I found that it runs large. I am a medium most of the time but sometimes it can be slightly tight where everyone said this run small I figured a large would be a better bet. The jacket was huge on me. When I returned it, they were no other sizes so I couldn’t replace it. The jacket itself was super nice. Had all the features that I needed and was very nice material and color.

Great features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a big Marmot fan! Lots of pockets in all the right places. Perfect for an avid, all-day skier! Always fits me like a Pati, but not the cost. Sadly, this jacket seems to run a bit small. I’m 5’9 160 and have literally, dozens of jackets, all size medium. I tried this jacket with a tee and it was pretty fitted. Super flattering, but no way I could fit a ski sweater or even over my ski pants. Love the color & contrast trim and I’m super sad to return.

Pros & Cons

Trying to decide if I like this coat. There are pros & cons. Pros: lots of pockets, all in the right places, very warm, nice looking Cons: zipper does not work smoothly-it seems to catch & I have to finagle it to go up. Once zipped, the lower zipper is resistant to pull upwards to allow greater leg movement. Noisy- the coat is noisy, but that’s the way Gore Tex is. I’m sure I will love it when it keeps me dry.

Lightray jacket insulation not warm.

The jacket is listed as insulated and the jacket description says how many grams of insulation however the jacket is not warm. It is difficult to compare the warmth of your jacket versus other brands of insulation. Also the fit through the hips is a bit too snug for sitting on a chair lift and the powder skirt rides up. Otherwise is a very nice jacket.

Thoughtful details set this jacket apart

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s hard to find something that is fashionable and functional for women skiers. Love the pit zips, pocket for my ski pass, and hood for snow squalls. This is the 2nd one I’ve purchased!

Runs small

This was not a large. I am a medium, but bought a large to layer. No way can I get a heavy fleece under it
