Not durable
Holes in the fleece after a couple months of casual wear. Nothing abrasive caught it, and no strenuous activity. Literally just sitting in an office and developed holes in the fleece on 2 of these.
Perfect for high output activities in cold weather
This is a piece I've been looking for and now use all the time - a layer to keep you warm (but not too warm) during high output activities in cold weather like backcountry touring and fast and light alpine climbing that also provides a little bit of wind resistance in the upper chest area. For backcountry touring, I love that the wind stopping is just on the top so works great under by bibs without overheating me. For alpine climbing, the half-zip makes it comfortable to wear under a harness. It's trim fit makes it easy to layer over this piece when you stop and need to add warmer layers into your system!
Good warm layer that isn’t gonna overheat
Love my Delta Hybrid when I’m outdoors, hiking or guiding. Especially in windy or alpine conditions, and high output. This piece performs really well to keep you warm enough when getting blown by the wind, and the wind resistance area is on the right spots, and having breathable panels at other spots allow the piece to breathe well to regulate your body temperature from overheating, even with a backpack on.
I like it for fast Training tours
Very light, warm and comfortable Hoody, best fit, Wind Protection in the upper part
Arc'teryx Men's Delta Hybrid Hoodie
I had ordered a North Face sweater without a hoodie. This item came instead. I could have returned it, but it wasn't worth the hassle. The problems with it are (1) there is only one rather small pocket on the upper left hand side of the hoodie, which makes putting in items like handkerchiefs difficult, and (2) there is no central zipper, only a small zipper at the top, which I found to be a nuisance in putting on the sweater.
Love it!
Loved it so much I ordered a second one. Never got too hot when it warmed up, and it held up fairly well in the cold while moving. It's become a travel essential for me!
Nice product!
It's really a great hoodie for my weekend trekking in spring time. It’s breathable and keeps me warm after the sunset. And medium size fit me perfectly
This jacket stinks! Literally.
I really wanted to like this product. I bought both the Delta Hoody and Delta Hybrid for ski touring to replace an aging Patagonia R1. Like all Arcteryx products, it has clearly been well thought out with excellent fit and features. Possibly superior to the classic R1... However, there is a bit of an issue... The material seriously stinks. I have worm my R1 on multi-week ski traverses and it didn't smell as bad as this does after a single use.
Best mid layer fleece available
Best mid layer fleece on the market, superb stretch and waffle design with the weather-resistant paneling on the shoulders and hood. Great stand alone article for running/hiking/skinning in cold weather, or layer up and it remains breathable. Had the black for a few seasons and had to splurge for the new green-color scheme. Looks like the thumb cuffs have been reinforced as well. Sick top!
