Shoe design is terrible in comparison to the previous functional design. · The zipper to the side is aesthetically unpleasing to the eye. · The back loop is missing so you cannot slide your feet into the shoes easily. You have to struggle to get your feet in because there’s no handle. · The pull string inside is unnecessary and adds an extra step, bulges, and obstructs the zipper. · The zipper does not easily zip with all the added bulk. · The Velcro is unnecessary and adds another step. The new design is terrible! Please bring back the older functional design. This shoe requires 3-4 steps just to put on and take off! What a waste of time and effort.
I purchased these boots to replace my Keen snow boots. They are a little more hefty than expected, but I think they'll be great for walking/hiking in the snow in cold temps. Per other reviews, I ordered a little larger and this was a mistake. I am traditionally an 8 in adidas shoes and an 8.5 in other brands. The 8.5 in this boot was way too. big for me. I exchanged the 8.5 for my normal size, 8, and could probably fit in a 7.5. I'm keeping the 8 so that I have the option to wear thicker socks. I had no problem zipping these up if I fastened the velcro first. The boots are nice looking, but maybe not a svelte as they appear in the photos. They do have a nice style edge to them, which I like.
I have developed plantar fasciitis and these shoes just make it a non issue for walking around the neighborhood with my dogs or hiking. I just want to eat them all day. Some reviews mentioned that they are too tight around the ankles. I have to say that after a few walks that improved and I find the support it provides superb.

Lightweight and sleek, easily my go to during the rainy seasons
I bought these shoes for hiking, and yesterday I did my first hike in them. At first I was really happy, they fit nice, they have a good grip, but after a few miles my ankles started to hurt. Half through the hike I started to limp. It took a lot of effort to finish the hike and get to the car. Once I took the shoes of I had the biggest bruise on my right ankle and my left ankle was also bruised. Day after the hike I am limping because my leg is swollen. I don't know if anyone else had similar experience. Shoes are nice overall, but not for hiking.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best purchase for winter shoes for hiking, city and all types of cold weather. Bought it for Zugspitze trail which unfortunately got cancelled for bad weather in December but tried at other places in city and in outskirts of town in cold weather. It’s comfy, cushiony and well insulated. Does it’s job. Can wear with zip lock or open, your choice depending on weather. Also, would recommend buying 2/3 bigger size as adidas also recommends as the shoes is of different design and purpose.
Shoe is rugged and stylish I was excited to match it up with my other outfits and gear. when I tried to put them on the shoe was hard and stiff. I wasn't sure where to place the inbuilt shoelace pull string. It seemed to get in the way of the wrap-around zipper closing which was very difficult to zip up smoothly. I was afraid it would break if forced. Overall looks sporty and rugged, but too stiff and zipper design needs a little more work. I'm a size 9.5 flatfooted woman.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Severely sprained my ankle before Christmas and was put in a mobility boot for two weeks. I needed a shoe to balance out the height of the boot and offer support and stability as I hopped around. This shoe is perfect. And with the high ankle support, it will be an excellent transition shoe for the next few months after the boot.
Had my eyes on these shoes for a while and finally decided to pull the trigger on them. I love everything about them. They aren’t meant for the cold but I live in Florida and have no issues with them being too hot. Will used them in colder weather down the road but could not be happier
