I ordered a pair of these boots as they were decently priced insulated and aesthetically pleasing. I have them for about 2-3 weeks now. As long as I don’t over tighten them, they fit great. Unfortunately, about a week or so after that, I have been wearing them on a daily basis. The left shoe began to make a popping sound whenever I would step off my left foot. It continues to do so I’m on sure what the issue is or if there’s some sort of diaphragm, but I will be contacting customer service to hopefully get a replacement pair.
Since my last Merrell experience, these have certainly made a huge impact. These are extremely comfortable and durable! i wear them 10-16 hours a day and yet to have any issues.
Thanks for helping us stride towards excellence.
By the third day my husband used the shoes the part that holds the shoe lace on one side ripped off.
I love these boots, purchased them about two months ago and have done a few different types of hikes with them. I hiked a Colorado winter fourteener in about 10 degrees of windy weather postholeing in about a foot or more of snow for most of the hike. These boots were really warm, never felt cold once. I would like to note that I did have toe warmers in though. The zipper made it really easy to get the boots off even with micro spikes still on. I have also hiked about 25 miles in Utah in about 85 degrees, my feet were comfortable but a little warm, not very noticeable though. Boots were very grippy even on the loose dry dirt and large boulders. I have no complaints with these boots, there great, totally recommend.
Love this boot. I am a big guy and it's hard to find a shoe and/or boot in a size 15. When I do they can be too narrow. This is a very comfortable boot and it's stylish. I bought them to fish in from my boat in the colder months and to hike some trails, but hell, I don't want to get them dirty because they look so nice. I've worn them multiple times and it's still in the single digits in where I live and they've performed beyond my expectations. I was going to order another pair in a different color, but they were sold out of my size. Super versatile and I highly recommend this boot. This is my first Merrells shoe and it definitely won't be my last.
Thank you for your rating!
Bought the charcoal/black variation of this boot In early November, I have been wearing these daily as a UPS driver in New Hampshire, with changing conditions daily from rain to snow to moderate temperatures. The construction/design of these boots is absolutely fantastic, feet are bone dry in rainy conditions, decent grip and snowy and icy driveways. Super warm on the single digit mornings. Super comfortable, and feet are not sore after it easily doing 15,000+ steps a day. 5-star rating across the board for me!
Thank you for sharing your great experience with us! We appreciate it!
I was hesitant about buying these boots since there were no reviews but I am SO glad I did. I originally purchased them for hiking and rainy days (live in the pnw) and have since started wearing them as my everyday foot wear, even on sunny days. I’m a nurse so I spend a lot of time on my feet and in front of a computer and these boots are so comfortable. I can spend an entire 12 hour shift running around and my feet stay comfortable and don’t over heat even though these are insulated boots. I originally though the zippers on the side were to make it so you don’t have to untie your boots to slip them off but I was mistaken. I find it most useful to quickly loosen my boots without untying them. When they are unzipped, my feet cool down a lot faster and the pressure relief is great. Plus when I need to get back up and moving, just zip them up and go. I’ve only had these boots for about a week so far but I am in love with them.
Very comfortable and dry but very slippery!!! Be careful with this boot on anything frozen. My morning slippers have more traction then these do. They look aggressive but the rubber is very slippery. I wouldn’t have bought these for a winter hiking boot if I knew how slick they are. I hope they are better on wet pavement and rocks.
Fit a touch more narrow than other nova 3s but after a couple days in them they feel normal , great for slip on / off ease with side zipper and not having to re tie every time, are also still “tight” enough to wear without zipping the zipper up every time
Comfortable, lightweight, warm, waterproof, grippy. Side zipper is nice too! Wish i knew about these sooner.
We love your great feedback!
