Best of both worlds?
I like these tires since I ride a lot of rail trails in northern Michigan which are packed crushed limestone the tread is perfect with beefier knobs on the edges to help hold a line in corners, the tires also ride well on pavement with shorter tread in the center..
Super fast tire
I bought these to use on my mountain bike as a trail/commuter. They provide adequate grip off-road and they have extremely low rolling resistance. Great tire for on road and light trail usage.

Excellent tire for both asphalt and hardpack gravel . I put them on my single speed Redline Monocog.. They do a great job for both control and big climbs. If most of you riding is on roads and gravel trails this is your tire!!!
Very satisfied
I bought these 29.5 x 50mm Schwalbe Hurricane tires to serve as road tires on my Specialized Turbo Tero 3.0 MTB, which I ride as a hybrid bike. I have about 100mi on them and am very happy with the ease of installation, ride, and performance. They are delivering exactly as I had hoped. When I go mountain biking, I swap them out for the MTB tires and then back again for road/gravel. The swap process takes about 15-20’ and allows me to do all my riding on one bike. The only thing I’m unable to comment on is durability as I purchased them recently. Based on current experience, I highly recommend them for value and performance.
Outstanding urban tire
I have been riding on these for more than a month now, on a MTB used for urban riding, and I find these tires outstanding. Good rolling resistance, good shock absorption and overall a good urban tire. I spent a lot of time trying to find the right tire for urban usage, and these seem to fit the bill.
Great Bang for the Buck!
Very impressed with this tire for the price. I’ve used it for about 2 months now for commuting and evening rides as puncture protection is my main goal. It’s more of a touring tire I would say, but it’s much faster than other touring tires I’ve used in the past.
Schwalbe Hurricanes for our e-bikes
I wanted something more than standard road tires, so I purchased these Schwalbe Hurricanes for my wife and my bikes. They are excellent all purpose tires, great on the road, great on trails. My wife is much more confident rider now with these tires.
