Love it

In my original review I gave this pack one star. The sternum strap is held together by a magnet. Other than that I loved it. I contacted Osprey and they sent me a new strap that is held together with a buckle. Fix and works great. Great customer service.

Ripped Already

I have had this bag for a little over a year and it has been on about 40-50 mountain bike rides with me. Overall, I like the functionality of the bag and it’s size. However, the backpack has ripped on one of the back seams. For $120 I was expecting this bag to last quite some time before I needed it repaired/replaced. I have not put this bag through anything in my mind that would have caused this tear, and I have not fallen off my bike with it on and it just sits on my back (as expected). Pretty bummed it’s ripped. Osprey does offer free repairs, but you pay the shipping and return time is 10-12 weeks. Funny that they mention their turn around time is so long because of the high volume of repair requests. I think that’s somewhat of a red flag that so many people are needing their bag repaired. Don’t think I’ll get another osprey back pack.

Great hydration pack for long mountain bike rides.

I decided to upgrade from my 20+ year old Mule to a pack that has more storage. I am mostly satisfied with the Osprey Siskin. It is wider, and sits better on my back. More comfortable on long rides, and can fit a jacket, lunch, and 70oz of water. There isn't much in the way of pockets to carry tools, so that's a downside. Also, the bite valve for the water isn't as good of design, but that's easy to swap. All in all a great hydration pack!

Worthless sternum strap

I love this pack, and would really like to keep it but. The sternum strap on this pack doesn't have a buckle to hold it. It has a magnet that comes apart every time I move my arm. If they would fix this issue I would have given it a 5. We will see as I placed a request for a new strap with Osprey and am waiting for a reply.

Best pack i have ever had for me and my kids at Post Canyon and Gateway Green (PDX). Unfortunately, it was stolen out of my car... so i am buying another one.

My first Osprey

I bought my first Osprey for Mountain Biking, after using an old pack. This pack is amazing… It keeps me cool, hydrated, and everything stays in place. I LOVE the pockets on the waist straps and the helmet hook. I will be buying many more Osprey’s in my future!!
