Selle Royal Respiro Saddle - the best so far
I bought this saddle a couple of months ago in an effort to try to find a more comfortable and stable saddle for my hard-tail mountain bike. This saddle was exceptionally stable, comfortable and with just enough flex to soften small road and trail bumps for that bike and made riding it much more fun. I was so happy with it that I am buying a second one for my road bike, which I tried out and found exceptional for that purpose even though I've had a pretty good Selle Royal saddle for about 7-8 years on my road bike. This one is better being slightly broader, more stable and the padding seems to be perfect fit to my seat (butt) bones. I can recommend that it's at least worth a try to see if it fits you as well.

Great for either on or off road riding.
At age 83 I fainally decided to replace my competition style saddle with something more comfortable and endurance orientated. This saddle does exactly what I hoped it would.

Quiet and Comfortable

I bought this saddle because it was most similar in size and shape to my previous saddle which was creaking and getting noisier as I rode, and it was no longer available to buy. After a few rides, the Selle Royal Respiro Athletic has become just as comfortable as my old saddle, and it is quiet. This was a good buy. I will likely buy another one for my other bike.
