I haven't had any of the issues some of the other reviews mention. I have this tire (38) mounted tubeless on a DT Swiss R460 rim, and while it took a little time to get the seal right (just had to add a little more sealant), now it holds air well and consistently. I've ridden this as my rear tire on a Surly Cross-Check for 9 months on all sorts of surfaces: concrete, asphalt, dirt, gravel, grass, etc. I ride all over Denver, including through alleys with rough/broken asphalt and trash strewn about, broken glass on the side of the road, dirt trails, through parks and grassy/weedy hillsides. No flats after hundreds of miles. And, I usually ride with a pretty hefty load going to the rear, as I almost always have a backpack and I carry a 10lb chain lock in my frame bag. So, after this experience, I'm ordering the same tire/rim combo for my front wheel.
Rides great, much better than WTB Byway I was on previous. Rolls fast and smooth, good for paved/rough/gravel. BUT, 2 weeks in, maybe 50mi on them, and the front developed a blister! Will be sending it back for a replacement, hopefully its just a one-off bad tire.
I'm happy with the tires. Very easy to mount on the wheels. Best part was there wasn't noticeable sealant leaking through the sides and how they hold air for long periods. I've ridden about a hundred miles with no issues.
This tire (700Cx38mm) is too tight/small to fit onto my 700C rim. I broke two brake levers and have spent three hours attempting to get it on. If I cannot get the tire on at home under ideal conditions, I will never be able to change it on the road. I cannot comment on performance because I was unable to install the tire.
Over 500 miles and no issues on roads and light gravel. Slight leaking between rides. Surprised how easy they were to mount and seal for this beginner with tubeless. Last set with a different manufacturer was a nightmare trying to seal with constant sidewall leakage.
Went out for a 30 mile ride the other day and ended up with 4 flats. Cannot recommend particularly in Colorado if Goatheads are around.
