  • Diamond- and chevron-shaped transition lugs feature staggered spacing and height to improve shedding and traction
  • Center lugs are raised and ramped for rolling efficiency; the diamond-shaped lugs squeeze in for grip as they contact dirt, then back out to shed debris
  • L-shaped side lugs dig in for grip while braking through corners, but roll quickly when off the brakes
  • Durable casing protects against abrasion, sharp rocks and gravel
  • Fast Compound construction minimizes rolling resistance and maintains abrasion resistance
  • Tubeless-ready design helps prevent flats while providing lower-pressure traction and comfort
  • Always check with your rim manufacturer to verify rim and tire compatibility before assembly or use

Great Commuter and Trail Tire

My bike mechanic suggested these when I was looking for a trie that could handle the pavement I was riding and also offer a solid tread for dirt trails. I have had these on my bike for about 2 years and have been running them tubeless. I really like the ride they have and they are plenty good enough for anything that I've thrown at them; pavement riding is smooth and quick, and dirt trail is also smooth and quick with plenty of traction. I'll be putting these on my future bikes, as I think this is a great all around tire for those who like to ride trail and go off occasionally, a smooth fun tire. Tubeless is a great feel.

great do-everything gravel tire

I’ve ridden a lot of tires on my gravel bikes and the Teravail Sparwood are my favorite so far, even above the René Herse Juniper Ridge (hot take, I know). I’ve put about 500 miles on my set and they’ve handled pavement, dry fine gravel, chunky railbed gravels, singletrack with hardpack, some loose sandy stretches, and good ol peanut butter mud. It’s handled well in all those conditions and been fun for anything from commuting to weekend rides to bikepacking. I’ll be buying another set when this one finally wears out.

Wobble wobble wobble

I ordered direct from Teravail and super disappointed. Both tires have a wobble. LBS says one can be corrected but the other is a defect. Apparently it’s pretty common with this brand. Wish I knew before hand and went with another brand.
