Bought these for a rough mixed gravel & pavement commute, replacing the narrower/slicker Teravail Washburn 38’s that came with the bike. Great for almost all conditions, they can get slippery in 5-6 inches of wet autumn or spring snow. Easy tubeless setup, they’ve withstood 6 months of abuse without punctures or flats. I’ve added an ounce of sealant, which may not have been necessary. Plan on buying these or the Rutlands next, I’d love ‘em in a 50-52 mm size!
One tire rolls true, the other...wobbles all over. Is it the tread? The casing? Not sure. But I'm getting a little seasick watching the tread wobble back and forth. Looking at the way the tire is seated on the rim, it's uniform all the way around, so it's seated correctly, identically to the one tire that has a uniform spin. I'll give it a few miles to see if it "settles in" but I'm not optimistic.
