Great for Thick Thighs
I searched high and low for a pair of ski pants that are warm, waterproof and truly stretchy to accommodate my very formidable thighs and small waist. I tried several pairs of pants that were listed as stretch and had no luck. They were form fitting in the thighs but left huge gaps in the back of the waist. That could be fixed to an extent by adjusting the waistband, but, most importantly, I still didn't feel like I had a full, comfortable range of motion. I was afraid the pants might split in the crotch at some point. They didn't feel truly stretchy. I called an Obermeyer rep and he told me that most "stretch" insulated pants at lower price points had a stretch outer shell, but not a stretch inner lining. Once I had this information I was able to find these pants which have a stretch lining. I just tried them on and they're perfect: fully stretchy and full range of motion. So for all the ladies with larger thighs these are the pants for you. They cost a bit more, but, they are worth it in the long run. I hope this helps someone!
