Hood Flare To Much

Love the thick rounding at the top part of this bar. Love the 4.5* back sweep. Love the distance between the hood and the drop at 80mm. The wider flare on the drop at 36* makes a nice place to spend time in without feeling compressed. Also, offers more control while in the drops. Waited a long while to put this bar on because of the time it takes to properly align everything then re-wrap your handlebars. Where this bar is failing me is the inward curve (6* flare out) the shifters are positioned. Looked like your hands would be in a more natural place on the hoods. But it turns the shift/brake to far sideways. The result (for me) is your hands resting on the side of the shifter not on the flat base of the shifter causing pain. Arrrgh! So love all the other positions, just not where you spend most of the time on your bike, the top hoods. Overall quality and price are good. The search continues.
