I wore these for over 5 hours on a kayaking/river hiking tour. My feet never fatigued and I had no issues with the continuous transitions from water to land, although I was grateful to change into dry shoes after the tour after having wet feet for that long. I'm usually a size 8/7.5 in sandals and I'm glad I sized down to 7 as I don't prefer shoes that look like they're too big on your foot, and I surely would have scuffed the toe. They feel incredibly stable despite the taller soles. I have bony feet and had no issues with any of the plastic joints rubbing my ankles, etc. Suddenly I'm not so upset that my dog chewed up my Chacos.
Shoe literally split in half and Teva won't fix it
Loved them for the 6 weeks I wore them last summer. Didn't wear them for the winter, put them on yesterday after a hike, took 2 steps and the sole completely fell off the shoe. It literally split in half. It was 2 weeks out of Teva's 1 year warranty so they won't do anything about it. If you want to spend $80 on a shoe that lasts 6 weeks, this is the shoe for you!!!
I’m obsessed
I have the regular Hurricane XLT2 sandals for outdoor adventures. I definitely didn’t need another pair of sandals but I got the Ampsole to try as an “every day” type of sandal. Ugh it’s so cute and the monochrome color way is the perfect neutral shade to match a ton of outfits. The height is also a plus- it’s not too tall which could look silly on a petite person like me. It’s not too chunky looking either. I also love that these are fashionable yet practical in comfort/durability. All in all, these didn’t disappoint. Looking forward to wearing these when the weather heats up. I highly recommend!
Excellent comfort, support, and fit!!
I'd originally overlooked this teva model as it seemed to be more of a fashion than sport sandal because of the platform. However, after trying on different models and brands that lacked the comfort and support I was looking for for trekking and hiking in Costa Rica and Bolivia, I gave these a shot because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews. Very glad I did! The soles are extremely comfortable and supportive and my feet feel secure in the straps. I'm a true 8.5 and bought size 9. I'm happy with the fit and don't even notice the height of the platform when I walk.

COMFIEST SHOES IN THE WORLD. I got the tan ones and I wear them literally everyday. People are always complimenting them and are often asking me for the link (wish I was sponsored). Of course there's the initial break-in phase but even that was a breeze. In all fairness, I haven't taken these on any long hikes to really know how comfy they are but I've done a few 3 mile hikes in them and they worked great. I wear them mostly for everyday though and not hiking. 10/10 - buy now!!
Comfortable and cute.
Super cute and comfy. I was afraid they'd be too high, but they are perfect. I don't feel like I will fall. I plan to wear them for lots of walking and light hiking in Mexico and feel they'll do the job, but I'm confident that they'd be fine on my feet for actual/rougher hikes. I'm a size 7 and ordered a 7. They fit perfectly.
Scratchy
I found the straps over the forefoot rough and uncomfortable. Also the triangle connector is uncomfortable pressing into the forefoot.
Tts and cute
Fit tts. I wear an 8.5 and usually an 8 in Teva. The 8 fit great. I was looking for a walking sandal for a vaca and werent quite as comfy as I needed. Super cute tho.
Comfortable for Everyday
Got these as an everyday pair of sandals for summer. They are stylish and so comfortable. Excited to bring these to Italy as they will be versatile for adventures or going out to dinner.

I love these sandals! I have multiple pairs of Tevas, and these are my new faves because they are not only a neutral color but also comfy as heck. I wore them on my recent trip to Kauai where I did everything from floating down a mountain to walking miles in gardens.
