I love oboz & have owned the bridgers for years. Was so happy to see this lighter weight option! Took no time to break them in, wore them on a 16 mile day first use and zero foot issues. I’ve walked through rivers, deep mud and rainstorms and they stayed dry. Really happy with these.
Best traction ever! Zero break in time. Moisture wicking, light and comfortable! This is by far the best boot I have ever purchased. Third hike in these boots took me to the top of Angel's Landing in Zion NP. Love them.
I have always taken an 8 in this brand (many years) but this year (maybe starting in 2023) Oboz are smaller, and overall fit has changed, potentially less comfortable. Size up a half size. The materials are lighter-weight now also. Not sure if that is necessarily a good thing.
I wanted to love these SO BAD. They were so cute and lightweight and every step felt so easy EXCEPT the plastic part of the shoe that holds the laces dug into my big toe with ever step, I felt like my toe bones were getting bruised :( these shoes were so great on paper but it just goes to show that everyone's foot is unique. I returned them and ended up getting one of Oboz's leather options that definitely don't have this issue right out of the box. I really wish these could have worked with my feet!
After exchanging for a larger size (they run ½ size small compared to previously), I tried them on a moderately-demanding trail. Very disappointed in the lack of support in the ankle area (the whole reason I switched from low-tops to mids) and painful pressure, then bruising, at top of boot after lacing (even when top hook is not used). Felt I was going to twist my ankle in them... low-tops never felt that wimpy. Taking them back. Oboz has messed with what was a successful fit/design.
Just bought these and i cant wait to take them out on the trail! Theyre much more light weight than any other pair of hiking boots ive ever had. The color is very nice as well.
