Bite valve silicone breaks easily

I got this only to use at music festivals. I’ve only used it 5 times over the past 6 months and the bite valve silicone already tore. I went to look at other reviews and it seems to be an issue, that the silicone breaks easily. I ordered another pack of 3 silicone covers, I hope they last. The good thing is that the bite valve locks. I bought a cover for the bite valve but it flies off sometimes. There is are hip and chest straps. Other than that, I do enjoy other aspects. Wish it was a tiny bit larger, but I like the design. The zipper to open up the bag is hidden. Perfect defense against pickpocketing. There’s also another hidden small zipper pocket near the hydration bladder slot. There is a magnetic holder for the tube, but I can’t use it while dancing because it falls off easily but I imagine it would do okay for hiking activities.

A bit larger than Kitsuma 3

This is the bigger brother of Kitsuma 3. It has the same great features plus more storage and a waist strap. The waist strap is removable if you do not like/use it. Like Kitsuma 3 this comes on women and men models but AFAIK tell they have the same design, except color and sizes. As I wrote on Kitsuma 3 review both men and women can wear them interchangeable so pic your favorite color. If you are a smaller woman then you should get the women version. Similarly, larger men should get the men's. With all that comes a bit more weight but still not as heavy as a real MTB bike pack. Kitsuma 3 is not to be used for MTB but this one may serve as a light duty, close to services/civilization MTB pack.

Purchased June 28. Broke Aug 9 while hiking on a short trail in Olympic National Park. Stitch holding strap came undone. See photo. It will be returned when I get home.

I love this backpack. It is light wait and very easy to get a cold drink without getting off your bike or stopping during a hike. I highly recommend!!

Great Hydration Pack for Nordic Walkers!

I have been looking for a way to carry water while nordic walking. Since your hands are in a glove attached to the pole, it has been a search for the least disruptive way to hydrate. Hip packs didn’t really work, too bulky, H20 bottle cross body’s were better if you don’t mind the back bounce. But this pack is PERFECT. It is streamlined for the back, hose can be adjusted to perfect position and can be used hands free meaning no distruption to my activity. LOVE IT!

Great fit, colors, sizing, straps,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great fit, colors, sizing, straps, storage! Wears a little hot though. I’m used to the highly ventilated hiking packs from Osprey so this one sits flat against the back and is therefore noticeably warmer against the skin. On the plus side again, it doesn’t move around at all while riding. All the same goes for Katari 7!
