Looked great. Didn't last 6 mo.Very disappointing.
I bought these in Aug of 2023 for dog walking in the wet park grass every morning. My sneakers were getting ruined so I needed waterproof boots that fit well but didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars. I wanted something that was quality and would last. I didn't need insulation (I live at sea level in SoCal so our coldest weather is 40 F). I was happy to find these: I liked the way they looked (green color) and that they were not so tall that i would need to wrestle into them. I usually wear a 10.5 women's and bought size 9 men's to get a wider toe box. I was initially happy with the fit, traction, and the ease of putting on and getting off. I was disappointed there was no arch support or cushioning, but they worked ok for walking on wet grass for short periods of time (1 mile total/day) and I was willing to do it for the waterproof aspect. It was a little frustrating that the height of the shoe meant that the hard pack from the park's trails ended up in my shoe, but again I thought was willing to put up with it for waterproof aspect. As the rains came for the holidays in December, I wasn't surprised when my socks got wet inside the boots. I assumed it was inevitable from the downpour. Fast forward to today (late January 2024) and in the light/medium rain today my feet got wet inside the boot again. Once home I realized both boots have sizable holes, along the top of the inside seam at the crease of the toe joint, that gape when the foot is flexed/walking. Really disappointing. $90 for boots that don't even last 6 months is frustrating and unacceptable. Now it's beyond the 90 day return window so I can't return them. I'm left with $90 boots that can't be used. I don't like filling up landfills. And I'm back to the original problem of keeping my feet dry without buying $300 gore-tex boots.
Poor quality, last Bogs purchase ever
Lasted a little while but cracking less than a year from purchase. Also part of the heel tore off on the first wear. I kept wearing them because I needed them but I wouldn't purchase again.
Nice Boots
I bought these boots to wear around town in the rainy PNW. They are easy to take on and off and are water tight. As a nice bonus, they look pretty good. If there is one drawback, it is that the choice of materials means that your feet may get a bit clammy. That’s the drawback with rubber - you get a waterproof boot at a good price point, but breathability can be an issue. Re: sizing. I wear anything from size 11 - 12, depending on the shoe. I ordered size 12 and they fit nicely with a pair of medium weight wool socks.
Excellent boots, but did not last
I love the fit and functionality of these boots. I normally wear a women's 8.5 or 39 EU, but the women's styles did not come in half sizes, and the toe shapes were all too pointy. A men's size 7 was perfect, with a rounder toe. They are easy to get on and off, comfortable for walking or standing, and have good grip on slippery surfaces. I would have given these a full 5 stars, but the boots developed a split/hole exactly one year after purchasing. It's located where the upper meets the outer side seam, at the flex point above the ball of the foot. I will try to repair it with some Aquaseal, but would love to know how this can be avoided in the future. The rest of the boot is still in great shape.
Good looking and decent value boot
Purchased these to throw on when working in the garden or on the lawn when it's wet or dewy. I don't think they're comfortable enough to wear all day but for short, focused chores they fit the bill and they're pretty good looking as well. Small niggle is that it takes a bit of a concerted effort to get your foot in these as their default state is to be kind of crimped in a closed position. Ideally you could just slip your foot in and be on your way but I have to kneel down and pull the sides out quite alot. Pretty happy with these otherwise.
Stylish and practical rainboot
My fiancée loves the following features of these rainboots: - he can wear them while walking our dogs while it's lightly raining without water seeping through to his socks - the green and orange color combination looks fantastic with jeans and is modern - the rainboots are easy to get on and off The only downside is that he is a size 10.5. We sized up to an 11 because that's what the internet suggested for Bogs, but they are slightly too big. Please make these available in half sizes!
Best for Portland rain
Very happy with these boots. My feet stay dry and do not feel sweaty. Entry into the boot is a little hard but I have big feet. Only issue I have is after entry into the boot I have to reach down and adjust the little flaps that hold the boot around the ankle but those little flaps I believe are essential to the design. I do not want 2 big loops at each end of entry points like some brands that get in the way of your pants.
Cute Boot.
I got this in the green color and I love them. They add a little extra pizzazz to your feet. I have worn them a couple times, but it's getting too hot to wear them as we are in summer now. They are okay on comfort. As a rain boot, I think I prefer something a little taller so my socks don't show (female millennial wearing skinny jeans still). They are heavy and will last a long time.
Light-weight, comfortable rain boots.
I've been really pleased with these boots. I haven't owned them for too long, so I can't speak to their durability. These are a light-weight alternative to heavier, stiffer rubber boots. I like this company and in the past, when I had an issue with their boots, they stood behind their product and replaced some boots quickly and without any questions.
Stylish, comfortable, but not lasting
nice and stylish but didnt even last half a year. I wore them on and off for about 4 months and they developed a tear near the toe and the sole started to separate from the rest of the boot. I loved them for the little time they worked, but Im not sure if they got their value paid back in only 4 months
