Great boots

I love my Boggs boots, wearing them every morning when cleaning up horse manure from the spring mud. (I wear them for the same task in the winter snow, too) In addition to being comfortable, and having that great hole that makes them easy to pull on, they are warm and water-proof, and can be cleaned by sticking my feet under the outside faucet before going into the house. I also wear them to ride the horses that make the manure. My only complaint is that I didn't read the description closely enough and by mistake ordered a wide calf boot when I have a narrow calf. Shoppers, read those descriptions carefully!

Just in Time!

My old bogs had worn a few holes/cracks that were leaking through into my socks. I didn't have wait long for my replacement purchase and just in time as the temps plummeted! There were a few days of really cold weather doing the morning farm chores and I used my bluntstones, my sperry winter boots, my llbean boots, my hunter rain boots and nothing compared of course to the warmth of the bogs. Cozy, warm enough even in the coldest of mornings and easy on and off way more so than any of the other boots - very key! Thanks Bogs once again ! And so happy to be able to return the old ones for repurposing.

I would buy this product again and again

I love these boots - have had my first pair x 5 years and used them almost every day around our rural property - in the garden, sheep sheds, barns etc - they would have lasted much longer except for the fact that I got a chew happy puppy who managed to ruin them in about 15 minutes. HAD to order a new pair - really hard to manage w/o them around here. Also I have been trying to convince a family member that removing your shoes upon entering a house is the wise, sanitary, polite thing to do but he HATES having to untie his boots all the time - I recommended to him that he get a low pair of BOGS slip ons. Will let you know if it works to get him to take off his shoes in my house - Thanks

Love these boots!!! Perfect for snowy, slushy, wet winters!

I love these boots! I live in Rochester, NY where the weather can get pretty snowy, icy and just slushy in the winter. I had North Face boots but they were too heavy, bulky and uncomfortable to wear on my long walk from the parking lot into the Hospital where I work as an RN. These are comfortable, warm, and most important easy to slip on and off coming and going to work! I'm sure I will be wearing them for many different situations going forward! So much more comfortable than the North Face boots or even Sorels that I bought and were also way to heavy and bulky. So pleased with this purchase!

Warmest Boot Ever

I bought two pairs of Bogs high boots. One for me and one for my daughter. Now I will only by Bogs, if needed in the future. These boots are far superior to any other boot I have owned. They are even warmer than my apres ski boots made of goat and lined with sheep fleece. Proven boots in subzero temperatures with our snopocalypse in Chicago. I never once thought about my feet, they were toasty warm, hug your leg to keep snow out and completly waterproof. So needed trying to get through 4-5 foot drifts of snow. Great quality and highly recommend. True to size. Buy them you will luv them!

Perfect Everyday Winter Boot

I just moved to Montana from CA and needed a high boot that would keep my feet warm while out adventuring in the cold and snow. My other winter boot were tough to put on and not keeping me warm. I wear these most days and love how easy they are to slip on and off. I wear them hiking, playing snow with toddlers and while running errands. So far my feet have not been cold and my toes are often cold. When first trying them on it felt like they were too tight on my back heel but after one hike they're broken in and comfortable. My toddler, husband and I are all loving our Bogs in Montana.

Noisy but content so far

They're noisy. They slap against my legs and are pretty loud when it's just myself walking. Makes a dull "thunk"ing noise. But I like them. I have the tonal leopard. Their best feature is how easy they are to slip on. Invaluable for winter. They've handled ice and snow well so far, but I haven't had them long enough to test full traction and durability. I've walked in them at negative temps for short bits of time and haven't felt cold in the feet, but again, I can't say to how well they would hold up for longer periods of time.

I would buy again but smaller size

I bought this boot for horse farm chores. They are about a half size too big, but they don't come in half sizes. They are a big, rather bulky boot, but the footbed is very comfortable, I had been worried that they would feel too stiff in the ankle and rub because they don't flex very much, but it's not a problem. there is enough taper in the heel area to keep the boot on your foot without feeling as though you have to grip with your toes to keep it on. If I bought them again I'd get an 8 rather than a nine. my true size is 8.5

BOGS will always be my go to farm boot.

I have a pair of BOGS boots, but I wanted or needed a pair that was good for COLD temperatures. I wear them for doing chores and farm work. The ones I have now, I have had for over two years, but they aren't for really COLD temperatures. I have not worn them yet, as those COLD temperatures have not set in like last year. But, I can tell you they are much lighter weight and am looking forward to wearing them. I discovered BOGS several years ago and compared them to MUCK Boots. I will take BOGS over Muck boots any day.

Change in design made them unwearable

I've worn Bogs winter boots for years (daughter too). Last year I bought a new pair of classic tall, took them on holiday trip to Portland per usual. After an hour hike up Mt. Tabor, the skin on my right front shin had been worn off and walking became painful. After bandaids, then moleskin, same. I studied the boots, and realized that with the new taller rubber shaft, the boot upper was stiffer and did not "give" when I walked. Very sad, I've LOVED these boots, but literally cannot wear them anymore. Just be aware.
