Versatile Performer
Jack of all trades that should work for a variety of riders/uses, even if it isn't perfection. Fairly lightweight with Ti rails, even if not superbly, while having gel padding at the same time - which is quite rare. Cushioning feels supportive but also comfy, compared to rock hard saddles. Nice length allows for some re-positioning so you aren't locked into 1 spot, and allows for both upright riding and more aggressive forward riding too. Cutout works well but could be a touch wider - maybe a byproduct of what was a female-centric design which they now seem to designate as unisex. Overall very nice saddle, anything better would be the type of endgame saddle that feels completely tailor made to you.
Nice features
This saddle is different from the one I replaced. That one was a minimally padded saddle that actually rode & felt great but the shell broke & that ruined the ride. I am in the process of adjusting the Terry saddle by tinkering with the position & angle of the saddle & I am about halfway there. Being that the Terry saddle has significantly more padding & gel cushion than my old saddle does have an effect on the way I sit while riding & at first the saddle was uncomfortable & I have found that the placement of the clamp along the rails has to be as close to the nose as possible. I have a slight angle at the nose, very slight, to match the distance of my old saddle from the top tube. In the first try it was more pronounced with the back raised 1/4 inch higher. That was agony to ride. Glad I measured that distance & adjusted. So it’s an ongoing process about halfway. There’s a lot to like about this saddle, light weight, titanium rails, & the open cut-out on top that takes pressure off the goods. I fully expect to get this right.
