Shoes that got me to the top of Costa Rica

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just summited Mt. Chirripó, Costa Rica’s highest elevation 12,530ft, in these shoes. Hiked 3 days ascending roughly 8,570ft and never once had a hot spot. Great ankle support, the laces never slip, and perfect for wet, cold (20f) and hot (80f) environments that we experienced. Said out loud on the trail “I need to tell Adidas how great these shoes are for this!” Bought my boyfriend the men’s version and he is equally impressed. Runs true to size. Wore them for about a week before the adventure but break-in was barely needed. 10/10.

the softest of hockey or ski boots to work in

Free Hiker is a work shoe cheat. I’d be first in line for a composite toe. If you work on your feet, steps are steps so why not put some boxing gloves on your feet. You don’t have to be scrambling for the good pics to appreciate your feet. A boost sole does what it does. Another dope aspect for me is that the materials are considered and washable

Tell me a shoe greater than this... I'll wait...

Still here... that's right, you can't. I am a shoe lover and have had just about every type of shoe out there. I have never in my life loved a shoe like this one. It hugs my feet. HUGS. MY. FEET. It's like the perfect pair of socks that love you with the perfect hug. When I walk I catch myself walking faster because of how perfectly my feet roll with my steps. I am in love with these shoes. I never want to take them off. I feel lost without them when I'm at home living my life without foot hugs. If you're even considering these shoes, stop it, swipe that card and love your feet. If you aren't considering these, what are you even doing with your life? I couldn't be more satisfied. Best. Shoes. Ever.

Great traction, good cushion, a little warm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in a semi-rural area where there are horse trails instead of paved sidewalks. I was in need of a shoe with a built-in gaiter, hiking shoe, and general walking shoe. These definitely fit the bill. I wish the top part was a little more snug because gravel still gets in but I love the shoe. I was worried I would have to sacrifice traction for the cushion but they are balanced quite nicely. Adidas recommended I go down a half size from my usual size 11 and it was a perfect fit. I feel like they may be very warm in the summer so I'm not sure about how ventilated they are.

I love the toe box area. Much room to spare. I'm 5'2 120lb I have wide toe box, however narrow ankle and heals. Only problem I had was after the first hike the back of my ankle my skin tear. I hiked 3.4 miles.

Great hiking shoes!

These shoes were sized wrong or are universal fit as I'm normally a size 7.5-8 women's and the size 6 Terrex fit me. However, they are amazing. They are super comfortable and I feel a ton of support around my ankles when walking on uneven terrain. They are slightly big for me in the toe box but I don't mind as I hate my feet getting cold and they seem to get cold when they are swished. I wish I would have bought 2 pairs (one for hiking and one that is kept nice) as they also give a lot of support while I work as a physical therapist. Overrall, a wonderful purchase.
