Best mix of design and comfort
I recently wore these for a 100-mile ultra in South Africa. The best review I can give is that I never thought about my shorts for 24 hours. The lining is better than any other lined shorts I've used. The compression at the bottom of the shorts holds them in place. The added fabric on the front creates some extra space to avoid embarrassing exposure in unwanted places. The deep back pockets are incredible for stashing gels -- they stay close to the body without bouncing around. I only wish they were available in additional colors!
Great fit and pockets, look is not for everyone
These are my preferred running shorts. They do look odd to some but I find they hold me and my phone snugly when running. I wear an L stand alone and have a pair of XL for over tights which provides a large phone-friendly pocket (2 actually). They have also lasted several years in regular rotation.
Great quality shorts
These are well made with really good pockets that are easy to access on the run. They stay in place better than loose shorts for me.
Ridiculous
These shorts do not look the same when I wear them as they do in the picture. They look completely ridiculous.
