Perfect for getting the job done
There are fancier stands than this one but once I started building wheels and learning from experienced pros I realized this is the industry standard for a reason with the TS-2.3 upgraded to modern rim and hub width specs for everything but ultra fat bike wheels (with tires). The speed handle is a nice addition along with the powder coated arms. I found a 3D printed tilting bench mount on Etsy that has a cleaner install than Parks OEM option. Overall 5 starts for being a well built tool that simply works every time. If you can afford this stand than buy a dishing guage next.

I have been a bike mechanic since 1985. I've worked in several shops in various locations. When it came to truing wheels or building wheels, I knew I needed a truing stand in my home shop. I wanted what I was used to while working in professional shops. I think the folks in the REI Paradise Valley shop were surprised when I ordered this stand. "You realize this is what we use, right?" I smiled and told them I did indeed want to purchase this stand. I'm so glad I did. I use it regularly. It's so simple to use. The results are fantastic. If you want to true your own wheels or have aspirations of building your own wheels... you'll need to start with this! It accommodates most modern wheel sizes from 20" to 29". The really 'fat' tires don't fit in this one..
