Really happy with this purchase!
I’ve been on the hunt for a mid-weight fleece that is both functional as it is fashionable. I plan to wear it casually and on hikes. Haven’t tried it out yet since it just came in the mail today. I am 5’2” and about 130 pounds. I was debating between a small and a medium. Really happy with how the small fits over a t-shirt. I am also really happy with the number of pockets: 1 small chest pocket that would be good for some cash or cards, two zip pockets on the side, and two interior pockets which can hold a phone. Really like the design around the sleeve cuffs. It’s subtle, timeless, and high quality. This detail definitely sets this fleece apart from others. Shipping was also faster than I expected!
Cuffs pill immediately
I got the Kari Traa Women's Rothe Mid-Layer Fleece Jacket in Astro (blue). Love the color, the sherpa pile, and the warmth, but the cotton cuffs started pilling during the first day of use. Super disappointed in the quality of the cuffs and this happened, because otherwise this fleece has everything else going for it.
My favorite fleece of all my fleeces.
It keeps me warm in cold and wet days in NY. The material is very soft and feel good in the skin. It stands out. I got the color green.
nice light weight warmth
Only 3 stars because of two design faults. The collar sill not fold down when partially zipped as shown on the model. And perhaps the worst is the wind block fabric behind the zipper which catches unless you zip it slowly and with your finger running between it and the zipper. I agree that the cuffs pilled immediately. Poor quality and expensive price as such.
Warm but not cozy!
I imagined this would be really soft but was a little rough. Mentioned as a mid-layer but very thin. I sometimes can wear mid layers alone depending on thickness and material, but this was too thin. Not a fan sorry!
Warm jacket with minor flaws
The jacket looks stylish enough for a work setting. It is a warm fleece and I like it a lot. There are a few flaws though. I wish the front breast pocket was slightly bigger to fit my phone. The zippers keep catching on the jacket lining also.
Problem zipper
Love this jacket so much, the fit, the softness, the comfort without sacrificing style. So disappointed that I couldn’t end up keeping the jacket due to the zipper constantly gets caught on the lining. Huge oversight. Hope KT can fix this issue ASAP as I love this brand and their products so much!!
Comfy, Cute, and Practical
This zip-up fleece jacket is packed in my bag for every weekend trip, camping excursion, and outdoor adventure. I also bring it along for casual nights outside with friends. It's warm and holds up well in the wash, and I like that it's a full zip instead of a quarter zip. I just cannot recommend this jacket enough. I have never bought two of the same article of clothing, but I do have this jacket in two different color combinations because I love it that much.
Not functional
This is a stylish and lightweight fleece. However, the zipper catches on the lining ( facing) when zipping up or down. I'm very disappointed that this wasn't noticed before it shipped out. Another reviewer had the same issue.
Super Cozy and Cute
I cannot get enough of this fleece. I wear it all the time! I wore it as a mid-layer in sub zero temperatures while I was snowboarding in Montana and it kept me nice and toasty. I constantly wear it on cool mornings at home in the Rocky Mountains in the spring and summer. The little zippered pocket is really useful for quick trips into the grocery store as a place to stash my money. Highly recommend!
