Great gloves for women, too!
My bf and another guy friend both bought these for Backcountry skiing and quickly became obsessed with them so I figured I'd give them a try. I bought the XS and am extremely happy that I did. My hands tend to run hot when I'm going uphill but these are breathable enough that I can keep them on comfortably. They're also pleasantly dexterous which makes transitions much smoother (no more taking off gloves then getting super cold hands that just won't warm up til you're back in the car). It would be great to have a women's version of these but the men's xs fit so well that it'd probably be just as good to describe them as unisex so ladies don't miss them!

Great gloves at a great price
These gloves are great for a lot of cold-weather activities. I primarily use these for ice climbing and these are my workhorse gloves. They are thin and provide good grip and the wool blend liner provides enough warmth without being bulky, which along with the articulation allows me to easily grip things. I also appreciate the flexible material over the back of the hand which allows for free movement and the long gauntlet has great overlap with my sleeve to keep my wrist from getting cold. They will wet out since they are not waterproof, but as long as you are not handling a lot of wet stuff you should be fine as that hasn't been a problem for me. Highly recommend!

Great Glove
I was surprised when I got these gloves how light they were. At first I was worried about how warm they would be but after using them for splitboarding in temps that were in the teens I am really happy with this purchase. They were pretty warm, even when standing around evaluating a snow pits. These gloves also have excellent dexterity. They are an under cuff glove but do a good job keeping the snow out since the part of the glove that goes under your jacket is longer than most under cuff gloves. These gloves have great grip too. These gloves may be my new go to gloves. I've only used them a few times so still need to see how long they'll last. Great glove though.

Go To Touring Glove
Use these for ski touring/winter sports. True to size (like most OR gear). They grey/leather has a great look to it. I've stayed warm through Montana/Utah/Seattle weather. The loops make it easy to clip onto a carabiner on the way up, and the velco strap tightens well to go under your jacket so no pow is sneaking in. Combine these with an OR liner and you have an awesome set up. (I also have the OR down gloves for basecamp to be toasty). If you are looking for freezing temperatures with insane winds, maybe go with a mitten, but these cover 99% of the time, and you'll probably be better off with a Hot Toddy at the lodge if conditions get bad enough where these are getting cold.

These have become my go to ski touring gloves. Just the right level of warmth for going uphill in cold temps (under 20) and a great all around glove in warmer temps. I went with a size M, despite measuring slightly above that size. With that fit, I have the dexterity I need to transition without taking off my gloves. So I would say they're the best dexterity I have found for the warmth. I also find myself grabbing these for shoveling snow, moving firewood, and even cold weather XC skiing. Construction and durability appear excellent after a 20+ days. Another awesome OR product.

Great glove! Well designed and good quality leather. I've hunted multiple days with these in Colorado w/ 15 degree weather and these were great! Hands stayed warm. The fit is perfect and the insulation feels nice against the hand. My hands never get sweaty in the glove either. They are lightweight and OR spent time with the details on this glove. My final test was skiing Breckenridge last weekend two days straight w/ these on; they were fantastic! The temp was in the teens and again they performed outstanding. I highly recommend for the active hunter and skier.

Great general purpose glove
I have used these gloves for just about everything during the winter months. The leather on the palm face is a great feature because it is more durable and provides better grip, especially when wet. They are very warm and also breath well so that your hands don't get sweaty inside. They are advertised as an under cuff glove but when you have really tight sleeves on they have plenty of flexibility to go over your sleeves if need be. As advertised they aren't fully waterproof so they have gotten a little damp when wet for long periods of time. But overall I am very pleased with the fit and feel of these gloves. I would recommend these as a go to winter glove if you aren't planning on having them wet for long periods of time.

Will buy again as soon as they're back in stock
These are the best gloves I've found for winter hunting/shooting (upland birds and sporting clays) They keep me warm enough in below freezing temps (while moving) yet I can still operate a shotgun. On my alpine ski gloves the fingers are too fat, while my fleece gloves for AT skinning aren't durable enough. My xc ski gloves don't have the long gauntlet that these Extraverst do, that keeps the wind and wet from creeping under my jacket sleeve. They're not waterproof, but they're resistant enough for pushing through snowy brush and hemlock on a winter hunt. They will not be ripped up by briars. These gloves really are the thing for high dexterity and high durability in a winter glove for active winter activities. Just waiting for them to come back into stock.
Good, not great.
I have had the gloves for a few weeks now. Took them to the shooting range in below freezing weather, and even after warming the gloves and my hand up they were unable to retain body heat. Did some snow shoveling in 1 degree weather, was well dressed, and wore these gloves. The only part of my body that was cold was my hands. Any temp over maybe 32 degrees these should work, but anything below that you either need another layer over you hand, or thicker/better gloves. They are nicely made however, and seem to be quite durable.

Great gloves
Gloves are great, pretty warm and fit perfect. Not completely waterproof though. Took them skiing on a pretty snowy day and the outside of the gloves got pretty saturated after a few hours. The insides didn't get wet until the end of the day though, so they did pretty for just one day. A multiple day trip might need some additional waterproofing so they're not completely soaked the next day. Great gloves otherwise though, and if you're not looking at wet weather situations they'll do fine.
