The Classic Hike Light Cushion socks are my absolute favorite socks, and I hope Smartwool never discontinues them! I have very wide feet and wear minimalist/barefoot shoes, and it's really hard to find quality socks that are actually as wide as the shoes and don't pinch my toes. But these are perfect. The toe area is spacious and the rest of the sock feels secure on the feet and calves. Loving the Picante color - such a nice change from gray and taupe - and really hope that Smartwool will continue to release these socks in more fun colors in men's sizes. (The women's are too narrow for me.)

They are an almost everyday wear for me, with my hiking boots. Even when I get my feet soaking wet, they're warm and comfortable. They are my go-to sock for hiking, trail-biking, xc skiing, marching band and Nordic ice-skating!

I thought the weave was very loose with these socks. It did say "classic", and it did not have the feel of a modern sock at all. I do own a few Smartwool socks which are great. This was not one of them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My initial thought of the socks was that they were a little thicker than I expected but as soon as I put them on, they were perfect. The decorative mountain pattern towards the top of the sock almost seemed to help the sock stay up us well. I wore the socks around the house and even wore them cutting some trees down for a day. The held up great, and were damage free after a day of walking through the fallen down tress. I was really impressed. Yet again, Smartwool hit these out of the park! #SmartwoolLove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased three pairs of these because I consider crew socks a winter necessity, even though I always end up folding over the tops on all my crews! They work better than expected at not drying my feet out and keeping them comfortable. Cotton diabetic socks would leave my feet bit sweaty and dry, and they rubbed something terrible. The tips are tight for me, but that is a personal issue and most people will like how well they stay up.

We are so pleased with these socks. They are comfortable, stay in place, and keep out feet warm in winter. If you want to let that special someone in your life that they really matter to you, buy them a pair of these. nothing says i love you quite like comfy socks...
