SOLID Headset That Won't Break The Bank

Got it ahead of the estimated delivery time, so that was a plus! Installation was pretty simple and went totally smooth. One thing I'm really stoked about is that the crown race that comes with the head set has a dirt skirt to protect the lower cup and bearing from excess dirt. After installation, the headset required very minimal preload to get everything nice and snug, whereas my old stock headset needed a bunch of preload to cinch everything up. I've done five good, hard rides on pretty rocky trails, and have noticed no play in the headset and has remained totally solid. BTW Cane Creek's customer service is outstanding. I called with a bunch of questions and the agent was super friendly, very knowledgeable and helped me to be confident that I was purchasing the correct size headset for my bike. For those looking for a basic bulletproof headset that is affordable, this one's the deal.
