Comfortable everyday socks, but limited colors
I have worn these attractive, comfortable socks for years and had them in several colors. They were slightly thin, but good for spring and fall wear. Alas, they now come only in grey and black (all black in the store), and the price has jumped to $21 - too much for an every day casual sock. Please reinstate your navy blue and forest green colors.
Daily warmth in the PNW
I wore these almost daily around the house where I work from home in the PNW. I noticed that they started thinning on the soles about 6 months in. One pair developed a hole at about 9 months. Another pair is still going after 12 months, though the bottom seam is see-through thin. They were great year-round: they kept my feet warm in the winter (I also wore house slippers), I would occasionally wear them out with boots, and they never got sweaty even when I wore them camping in the summer. I had no issues with them being too tight around my largish calves. They stay up fine for me around the house, though when going out I noticed I'd have to pull them up several times. Given that they provided non-sweaty warmth day after day for months, I feel they are worth the price. I'll likely buy a few more pairs to replace them.
Love these socks
These are my go to everyday socks during the winter months. They are light weight enough that I can wear them with my normal shoes and boots. Many of the smart wool socks are too thick, I love them but I can’t wear them except with hiking boots. If my feet are cold, I’m cold so I wear these all winter.
Coarse and uncomfortable weave
I was shocked at how coarse these socks are! I expected soft and cuddly warmth but instead they felt raspy and bumpy on my feet. I washed and dried one pair — no improvement — so I returned the others I had purchased.
Warm Socks
I have been wearing these for ages. They are soft, warm, and wear well.
Comfortable but too Short
I am a bit frustrated with Smartwool for not providing thin wool knee-high socks. These socks slide down. Knee highs seem to only be available in a very thick version that doesn't fit in my shoes.
Quality, but at a Price!
Smartwool socks are great although they've gotten very expensive for Socks.
Socks for mom
Bought as a gift for my 87 year old mom. Tried one pair last year and bought her 6 more. Light weight and warm enough to where all day indoors.
Cute, but thin
These are cute with embroidered stitching, but thin. I expected more durable thickness and padding d/t Smartwool's reputation and previous socks I'd owned. Unfortunately, I will need to wear these with another pair for them to be warm enough.

These socks stay up, fit my feet, and are soft and warm. I bought one pair to see if I liked them and then ordered a second pair.
