Good shoe dangerous lace system
Comfortable and light weight-good grip. Terrible lace design . Despite tucking strap under it came undone within 5 steps and I landed face first on sidewalk:(. Will be returning

Salomon Speedcross6 are amazing on the trails. They absorb the trail perfectly and make my runs even easier and faster 🤩 I get many compliments from my friends. They have bought some too. I’m looking for my 3 pair now!!!
Unboxing and initial fitting review; first impress
Looks good, feels comfortable, and well made. Shoe reactions are thick and aggressive. The top surface is thin; looks comfortable, but it may be a disadvantage; it tears easily.
Writing on top
I used to be in love with this model until I got my order delivered and oh my goodness! The writing on top made it awful, ugly and ughhhhh 😶 So disappointed! If you want to be creative and add something make sure the pictures showing in site match the real one! With some RED details ! Now i have to return my order because you didnt mention about writing on shoes in any picture!!!!!!

I love this shoe!! I live in the Black Hills of South Dakota on 60 acres, I step outside and hike all the hills around my home. I took two pairs of earlier versions of the Speedcross to Mont Blanc and had a wonderful time hiking in those shoes. This year, I am heading to the Dolomites and will, again, bring two pairs of the Speedcross!! Stability, grip, and support are outstanding!!
Bad material
Holes formed after fours months use and got a lot bigger around eight months. Shoelaces broke after ten months use. After asking Salomon for a refund, they denied me. This is my second pair that has fallen apart in less than a year. I will never buy from them again.
Fantastic!
Upgraded from a previous pair. Worried they wouldn't be as comfortable and worried about whether they would be worth the extra price tag. I was so worried about the comfort I took my old pair out with me in a ruc sack. Totally worth it! Felt like slippers with grip and completed 14k with my old shoes never seeing the light of day.
3rd pair of speedcross 6.
These are my 3rd pair. I love the lugs on the sole, the fit and laces. I will continue to buy these as my daily drivers and running & biking. My old ones are now for working outside. Highly recommend!
Great alternative to a heavy hiking boot
I love these trail runners. I hike in Merrils, but bought these for easy trail hikes with my husband that don’t require a heavier sole. They have been absolutely perfect.
Lost their glory
Was such an amazing shoe—fit comfortable as a sock with the grip of a hiking shoe. Loved my first pair and wore it everywhere. The last pair was not as comfortable out of the box (I got an insert, which helped but didn’t totally resolve discomfort) and wore out absurdly quickly. A friend who recommended them to me had the same experience with her latest pair. Used to be great. Maybe they’re saving money on manufacturing now, but it’s not the same shoe. Not recommended.
