Good For a Larger Neck
I would probably rate this a 3.5, but my husband a 4 or more. It is too big for me, and I'm not a petite women. Have only wore it once so far, on a sunny but breezy day skiing. Felt like I was constantly having to pull it up over my chin, kept slipping down. This didn't happen with my hubby, fit him fine. Also, I did feel some wind coming through, although since it wasn't snug could be coming in from the top. I'll try it once more to determine if I'll keep it or not.
Stitch issue
Wonderfully warm but after first wash, the stitching is coming out. When I bought this 2 weeks ago, it was the only one left and helped me get through a week of dog walks in 20 degree temps. Instead of returning, I'll restitch myself.
His ski mask was not enough!!!
My son is 13 and he loves the soft, stretchy material and the warmth it brings him when he is snowboarding.
Great gaiter
Great gaiter. Very warm & windproof. Using it now in Antarctica. Some stitches coming undone so will exchange it. But yes, I want the same one.

Works great! Gives a nice buffer to the cold air from blasting your face. The only thing I would change is to put a draw string on the top end. That way it could be slid upward and sinched to function as a hat.
Very Warm But Weak Threading
After using for one month, it started unthreading at the top very quickly. Going to purchase one more time and see if it lasts longer. It works great against the cold, hence the 3 stars.
A neck gaiter for those extreme days (or nights).
This is a non-trivial neck gaiter. Considering the conditions I anticipate, this will be my go-to on the days with arctic conditions
