Not as good as melody tights

I need to update my previous review, the only thing that -was- wrong was the color was way off. Now having worn them several times they are falling apart rapidly. They do not hold up like the melody tights which I have owned for over a year now with no pilling. There is pilling and threads coming undone. The price on these does not reflect any value and they have taken a step backwards with this product.

No, I do not recommend this product

Almost right

The leggings have ample pockets which is awesome! they are a bit thinner than the melody tights though the fabric still feels soft. The leg length is correct (melody 7/8 tights had one leg longer than the other). I took off two stars because the color 'Mediterranean' looks quite blue in the photos, however in real life its more green and its lighter. The color isnt flattering for any imperfections, I also tried wearing my thinnest pair of underwear but the seams still show through these pants. If I got the black color I think I would be more satisfied. I added a photo to reference the color better, taken in front of sunlight.

It didn't meet my expectations. There are incorrect stitching in drop-in-pockets on both things. I was disappointed to pay the price for a lower quality.

Best Leggings I Have EVER Owned

Like any person that enjoys comfort, I have had my fair share of experience with leggings. From high-end designer to athleisure to yoga (Prana and Lululemon) to fitness brands (Nike, Under Armor, and Reebox), I consider myself so legging obsessed that once I find my perfect pair, I'm hard pressed to ever take them off. A good pair of leggings is like a good pair of shoes: they'll last you forever and take you anywhere. Well, these are those leggings to me. I want them in 5 more colors and also with a full length and windproof option so I can wear them in all the seasons. Outdoor Research, you are my favorite. Thank you for reinventing the wheel on this one. PS. I've worn these bouldering, hiking, trail running, road running, yogaing, and yard-working. They have not disappointed me yet.

Looks great but slides down a lot

Fits great, looks awesome, fabric is soft and comfy. But the fabric is somewhat slippery and the leggings slides down a lot. I have to pull them back up ever 5 minutes. I bought them for rock climbing, I have to wait until spring to see if this is going to be a problem. They also don't resist abrasion well, piles appear very quickly.

Wanted to love these!

I really wanted to love these. As a yoga instructor I've tried a lot of different brands and am always looking to try new leggings from brands I love. I love the OR brand, love the colors, and love that these leggings have multiple pockets. However, when putting them on the first time, I heard some stitching come undone despite the fact that they fit perfectly. I thought maybe it was a one time thing but unfortunately after only wearing them a handful of times and following all of the care instructions, the stitching is coming undone everywhere - even places that don't have tension like the pockets on the back. Unfortunately I would not buy these again or recommend them despite the fact that I wanted to love them.

Finally

Why did it take so long to come up with the concept of putting phone size pockets on women's stretch pants? Be that as it may, these are a great tight/pant that can wear many hats. The fabric is medium weight and pretty durable for a stretchy knit, almost a light soft shell. The fit is well, tight, but not overly so, and the length on a medium is perfect for me at about 5'5", falling just above the ankle. The waist is high, but not awkwardly so, sitting right above the hips. The pockets are as mentioned, a game changer, enabling me to have my phone close at hand without futzing. All in all these are great versatile tights, that could be used for rock climbing, bicycling, lounging, or a trip to the store. Highly recommended.

My favorite leggings

These are my new go-to leggings; so glad I bought both colors! They are super comfy with a waistband that's not too tight but also doesn't slip down and they feel like they will hold their shape well with multiple uses in between washings. The thigh pockets on either side are great for stashing a phone and a snack. I'm 5'0", so they fit like full length leggings on me. I love that there are no zippers or drawstrings, making for a nice silhouette. Overall, I don't think I'd change a thing about these except maybe making them in more colors!

I'll be wearing these at least 3 days a week. Probably more.

When I started pulling these on for the first time, I said, out loud, "Oh my god." Pause. "Oh my GOD. These are amazing." Comfortable. Soft. Sleek. Just the right amount of stretch. Side pockets. Back pockets! Gorgeous color (Mediterranean). So far I've only worn them hanging around the house/working from home/chasing after my toddler, but they've been perfect for that. I'm confident they'll be equally perfect for fall hiking and exploring and chasing after my toddler in the woods, too. I'm 5'7", 135 lbs, and the medium fits beautifully.
