ASICS  GEL-Nimbus 24 Road-Running Shoes - Men's

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A solid everyday running shoe, perfect for training and putting in long miles. The fit is comfortable and as soon as you slip into the cushioned heal you find the shoe fits snuggly without being tight. The added bonus of a stretchy tongue really hold the foot secure. I am a keen fan of finding shoes that do what you expect: you can’t go far wrong with the Nimbus 24. The gel insert ads comfort to an already stable and cushioned shoe and the grip tread responds well to all conditions. I generally use these for my daily workhorse so I am pleased to see the improvements are subtle but effective. I purchased the Nimbus 24 in the knowledge that it would suit me on road or trial and would last. It may have gone up slightly in price but the longevity of this shoe makes it worth every penny. “Quality is remembered long after the race is finished.” Sean

(Esta reseña se ha recibido a través de una promoción.) Siempre he venido utilizando el modelo Nimbus de Asics. Este año añade pequeños cambios en la suela, lengüeta más elástica, y estética. Todo ello hace si cabe una mejor zapatilla a nivel global.

Para personas de edad como yo y peso elevado que quieran dar largos paseos o incluso trotar y proteger sus rodillas no encuentro zapatilla mejor que el modelo Nimbus.... llevo con ellas más de 10 años y probé otras opciones y me sigo quedando con las Nimbus por la salud de mis articulaciones. Como algo negativo de estos últimos modelos reseñar que la suela no dura el kilometraje de las de hace años, por lo de más para mí son las mejores

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like Asics and have bought many pairs. However, the latest pair I bought are too small. They are the same size, EU 47, as the previous edition but they don't fit. Toe to heel is fine but there's less material over the instep and I find them difficult to put on and uncomfortable when running. They look great but I doubt I will be using them for long.

Llevo años usando Asics nimbus y cumulus entre otras y estas (las 24) van bien como acostumbran, pero por desgracia las he tenido que comprar en outlet porque Asics está virando el diseño de las nuevas hacía unas suelas ridículas y ya solo encuentras zapatillas con suelas decentes en los modelos antiguos. Así que probablemente no podré volver a comprar esta marca que tantos buenos años me ha dado. Una pena. Ojalá algún día vuelvan a hacer suelas serias y no la vergüenza que están haciendo con las nuevas.

They are so comfortable, I have run many half marathons and the London Marathon and have found this particular running shoe without doubt so comfortable. Highly recommend to all runners out there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd generation Gel-Nimbus, having racked up 950 km on version 22 and 850 on version 23. I have always enjoyed the plush and stable Nimbus as daily trainers for roads and paths. After 2 runs on the Gel-Nimbus 24 (8 km and 35 km) I can confirm this latest offering is again great for long easy runs. My only gripe so far is the 24s are harder on my knees. Not good when training for my next marathon. So for now not sure how the Nimbus 24 will play in my shoe rotation. Fingers crossed they do, considering the price and alternatives both in and outside of the Asics range.
