Extremely low rise
The rise on these pants is very low, meaning the vertical distance between the crotch and the waistband is very short. I bought these to wear while cycling, and the low rise means that as soon as I bend forward or make a pedaling motion, the waistband slides right down my butt. Having a low rise on a practical garment like this seems like a really odd choice.
very functional - worked our great
Bought these for a 7 day, 82 mile hike in Ireland. Weather was very unpredictable, rain, wind, sleet. Parts were perfect. Light weight and kept my completely dry despite a LOT of rain.
sticky when wet
Using the pants hiking in the rain they were not water resistant at all the stuck to my legs when wet. The material is nice and lightweight but not meant for any precipitation
flimsy
Really thin. Not sure this would hold up on a backpacking trip.
