Runs small
I ordered a small for myself and large for my husband, which is what we both normally wear. Unfortunately we both found the fit tight around the shoulders. We will be exchanging them for a size larger.

Rain jacket
I am returning this jacket. The fabric did not breathe. I wore it once in the rain & got soaked.

Runs Tight in Shoulders

I returned this because I did not like the way it fit. I ordred an XXL since I wanted some room for layers undersneath. The fit around the hips was fine but the sleeve length was a bit short. I have long arms but not that long. Also I found the sizing tight when I put my arms forward like I would have poles in them for snowshoeing. I also was dissapointed it had so much velcro on the front zipper. Those features are nice and I would have lived with them but the shoulder issue was the problem. I ordered two brands from REI and kept the OR one and returning this one

Medium rain fail

Did not keep me dry in medium rain! So sad because it's very light and felt like nice material but I was pretty wet after a 1.5 hour hike in medium rain. I have been ok in very light rain wearing it and I guess I was less wet then my previous coat but I'm a bit disappointed.

not what I was looking for

There’s nothing wrong with this raincoat. There’s no lining which I did read that in one of the other reviews. However, I found that I was really sweaty in this and that it didn’t breathe well even with the venting. Plus, I bought a size that ended up being too big. I usually get something that will fit my large chest about 45 inches but this one just doesn’t fit right on me. I think all this is personal preference and not that there’s anything wrong with this coat.

A good purchase

This jacket, although very reasonably priced, seems well made. It is just what I wanted for stuffing in the bottom of my day pack. My only comment is that the color is a very true purple, not what I would call Cabernet and not that close to the photo. But a pretty color just the same.

Great!

Great raincoat. Fits well in a flattering shape. Comes down long enough to provide good coverage.

Lightweight waterproof jacket

I was pleased with the price of the item so ordered it online. I was surprised about the color, as it looked red, but is plum colored. The exterior is nice looking. It’s very lightweight but stood the test of rain and IS waterproof! The inside looks a bit sloppy with the way seams were sealed.
