Bear trap pedal
I needed a decent metal pedal after bashing and often getting pedal struck on wider, square diety polymer pedals. I've had these for a few rides now and they have a markedly wider platform than the previous Atlas, version, which I mistakenly bought instead, rode once and realized the were too narrow for my size 11 shoe. I use an RC powerline which is not all that wide. These have very long pins in the center but they conform to the pedal's concave dimensions for a good control feel downhill. Super thin too so the end result is a light, strong shoe grabber that won't let go. Tons of washers to adjust pin length as well, if a looser grip is what you want.

Awesome pedals from Race Face!
Grippy pedals
Wow! The pins on these pedals are so grippy, I don't think my 5.10 shoes will ever slip off. This is exactly what I was looking for. The pedals are beautifully made and come with spare pins and a full set of washer/spacers. I added the washers because, as delivered, the pins seemed practically like golf shoe spikes. The washers shorten them slightly but they're still pretty long. I've used the pedals for nearly a month now, riding 3 days a week. They were easy to get used to and I really appreciate the confidence I have, knowing my feet will remain firmly planted to the pedals until I lift them off. Also, after any number of pedal strikes on rocks, the pedals/pins show no signs of wear or damage. I'm really happy with these pedals.
Great while riding, but use at your own risk
Super tacky to your foot, but be careful around your legs because these pins are long and sharp. I’ve drawn blood on multiple occasions by standing over the bike and accidentally pressing my leg up on the pedals.
Awesome grip, life time warranty!
I'm not sure how people have had bad luck with these pedals, maybe it has to do with shoe size. With a pair of Five Tens these pedals grip incredibly well. Much better than the OneUp pedals I was using prior. I've ridden these in park, tech, flow trails, jump lines, etc and have very few issues with pedal grip! I really like a sticky pedal so I don't lose my footing.
Excellent pedals
I’ve tried a ton of different pedals. One up, PNW, and some other cheaper options and these are the best. Crazy amount of grip and spin nicely. I’m on my 2nd season with them and they’re still great. Regressed them and they’re good as new.
Excellent traction and grip for mountain biking
I bought the Kash Money color of the Race Face Atlas Pedal to put on my new Canyon Spectral 29 CFR. This pedal works well, has great traction and my Five Ten shoes just stick on to the pedals. The pins are very useful and bite into the shoes! The Kash Money color matches well with the Kashima coating on the shock and the suspension.
Great Pedals
I live near some really rocky trails and have tried some other high end pedals but they were just to wide. These pedals work great, and my feet stay on them when I catch air!
Color inconsistent
Color matching is really, really sub par. Across companies? Fine. Between parts from the same company? That's not great. I contacted Race Face who first said paint will have different concentrations at different points in a tank, so color matching is never consistent (what's the point of proprietary color blends?) and then they said that different metals will present the same paint in different ways. So you can spend a ton of money, but the look is guarunteed inconsistent. Pros: Pedal material is good, replaceable pins are good. Cons: Race Face really did a bad job with this and dropped the ball hard with customer support. Stick with PNW, Spank, Deity, OneUp, literally any other company making pedals, stems, grips, whatever. Forget this at this price point.
Great pedals.
The updated version is better than previous. The bigger platform is always nice.
