Surprisingly sand resistant and waterproof
I had my doubts when purchasing this product because of the lower end prices and the lack of pictures showing it being used on sand but it claimed it was both waterproof and sand proof. At this point, I can agree that it does both very well. The only negatives that come out of that is if you are wet when you sit on it, it will bead up and stay there until you shake the blanket or let it evaporate. The other instance was when a wave washed onto the blanket and the sand was wet in the blanket. I let it dry out over night and the next day I was able to bang out the sand. Overall it seems sturdy and easy to transport with the handle.
Great mat
Everything about the mat is as described. My only issue is that the snap buttons corrode and prevent the “carry case” from closing.
