Flattering fit and PFOA free
Purchased this as a replacement for a 9y/o Patagonia Torrentshell. Not cut out for a downpour but sufficient for moving through summer rain. Hood is very well constructed with wire for shaping. Most appealing part is Fjallraven's Greenland wax water resistance application, it's about time we kick these PFOAs. Only potential negative being torso vents are close to pockets - I've confused the two and wound up with my phone on the floor. For fit reference I am 5'2" 115lbs size XS.

Bad Zipper
I loved the look of this jacket, the material, the weight. I tried on both the Small (perfect if you're just planning to have a tshirt or baselayer underneath) and the Medium (perfect if you do have a thicker layer like the Patagonia Better Sweater) at my local REI. At the end of the day, the zipper is the reason I didn't purchase the jacket -- it felt cheap, was sticky, and difficult to pull up. I've read this same concern with other Fjallraven jackets so it's really not a fluke. For reference: 34B, 5'5, 135lbs, climber build.

Can’t use the pockets

I am disappointed with the practicality of this jacket. Let me start with the positive- I like the Color and it looks good. The vents however are terribly placed. I cannot tell you how many times my phone or keys have fallen to the ground because I accidentally put them in the vents and not the pockets. The vents are right next to the pockets and nowhere near the armpits. I’ve waxed the jacket but the stretchiness makes it difficult to wax throughly and the jacket only holds up to a light rain. Furthermore, I’ve had issues with the split zipper alignment. Bottom line cute but not practical.

Best jacket Ever!

I absolutely love this jacket. I bought the extra large and it fits perfectly, has long enough arms and allows for plenty of movement (enough to be comfortable playing golf). It has already proven to be a good wind blocker. Zippered pockets are great and I also like that the back comes down just a bit.

perfect spring jacket

Living in Maine where this time of year is still cold but rainy and this. jacket is perfect. I love the color and love the fit of the jacket. I got a large which is true to size for me giving me extra room to layer underneath if needed.

Fabulous!

I discovered this amazing jacket on a visit to REI. It is a really cool material - super lightweight yet the perfect protection for spring summer fall. Very flattering with multiple adjustments and the gold is a fantastic color. The one ding against it therefore one star off is the zipper. You have to get used to it as it’s tricky to pull up. But the jacket is so perfect it was not even a deterrent from purchasing it!

Fabulous

This jacket is great for the shoulder season. It's doubled as a wind breaker and easily lightens up with the vents. The gold color is incredible.

Great jacket for travel to warm, rainy areas

Loved this jacket enough that I bought it in black for city travel and red for hiking. The best feature 100% is the extremely breathable back, great to avoid overheating when I'm wearing a backpack. I like that the side vents are there, but I dislike how easy it is to mistake them for the side pockets. And of course, I like how you can keep it waterproof with wax instead of PFAs. I'm 32D, 26 waist, 5 ft tall, 120 lbs and went with US XS.
