Decent socks when made correctly
Ordered 3 pairs in Large, all of which came marked as "Slightly irregular \ Cosmetic defects only" as the description says they might. 2 are great with solid, comfortable padding. The third is a much different color from the others and is missing the advertised extra padding on the foot bed and up the leg making them half as thick in those areas, hardly a "cosmetic defect". So be warned, it's more of a lottery than the listing would have you believe.
