Once on, it is an excellent shoe. The sizes run small compared to Brooks, Topo, New Balance, etc. and it takes considerable effort to get it on without a shoe horn. The tongue is part of the overall shoe which makes it harder. Once you complete the process it is comfortable but with the high price of the shoe it should be easier to put it on.
these are my least favorite hokas I've ever owned. and when I say owned, I mean I received them in the mail and returned them the next day. they're nothing like the other pairs of hokas that I have loved. they're more narrow than my trail shoes and there's minimal to no cushioning, as it states in the product info. beware.
I am of fan of Hoka Shoes, but this pair has been a disaster. The insole keeps sliding out of place and keep bending out of shape causing uncomfortable feeling.
I ordered the shoes. They arrived quickly. I could hardly get my foot in them an it felt like my feet were in a vice. Returning them.
