I wear these as a light duty trail shoe on dry dirt and rock trails and also paved paths. They are chunky and ungraceful-looking in the mid and forefoot, but they fit my needs for traction, durability, toebox width, and medium groundfeel. I normally wear a W 7.5/EU 38 in outdoor shoes, and the W 7.5 fits well here. The shoes are high volume in the toe and forefoot, but accommodate my low-medium volume feet if I wear thicker socks. Style-wise they are not my favorite, but I appreciate their function and price point and their availability at REI rather than bothering with overseas shopping. I’d recommend these for medium ground feel. They are a nice middle ground between the padded Altra Superior and the super thin Vivobarefoot Primus Lite.

worked for me, not for my daughter

These shoes fit me fine. According to Xero size chart and my foot size in centimeters it seemed like an 8.5 women's was recommended, but since I have always bought a 9 in Brooks Ariel I decided to order a 9 in the Xero Prio too. That was the right call. The length is good. I have regular width feet (size B or medium in other shoes,) and the width is good with these Prio, they have room for my toes to wiggle. Except when I'm wearing the "Correct Toes" spacers, then they are a bit snug. But my daughter has bigger, wider, & taller feet than me. She wears 10.5 wide in some other women's shoes (and sometimes a 9 in men's in other brands.) So I got her an 11 to try to give her more room since Xero Prio doesn't have a "wide" option. The length was fine. But the width around her midfoot was too snug. So we returned them. I wish I could have bought her a 9.5 in men's to give her more width, but everyplace I looked was sold out. (As a side note, I tried a youth size 4 Xero Prio for my 9 year old with wide feet, and he had the same problem, it was too narrow around the midfoot even though the length was fine.) I wish Xero had a "wide" or "extra wide option. I get the impression that they brag about their wide shoes, but they may not actually work for truly wide feet.

My Everything Shoe

I love my Prios! I have been wearing this all around the city and my yard, and I usually forget I'm wearing them. They are incredibly comfortable. I have chosen to keep the extra liner/padding in because I enjoy the extra cushion, but I really like having the option to take it out. I have also taken the laces out and I am using Lock Laces because I really needed a slip on shoe, as I take them on/off frequently in going in/out of my house. The Lock Laces suit the shoe nicely and because there isn't a plastic piece in the heel, it bends easily for my foot to get on, but still is firm enough to keep my foot in place. I love the black/white design. It is both subtle and stylish. I'm super pleased with the comfort, look, and versatility of the Prios. Hands down, one of my best investments in myself. The only downside I can think of is that I have noticed my shoes squeak pretty easily on a smooth, shiny surface (compared to my other generic sneaker I no longer use). Maybe because they're still in great condition, or maybe because of the material, but worth noting I suppose. Not a big deal to me. I still love them, and I would get another if anything ever happened to these! Also, my chickens love my Prios. Just saying.

Brand shoe broke tightening heel fit

I don’t recommend this shoe for anyone with a narrow heel. I tried the shoes walking around inside & the heel slipped. I then took them off & tried to snug the heel via the strap running like a V from the rear of the shoe down through the slot next to the lateral sole & then up to the lacing loop end 2nd from the top at the ankle. As you can see from the pictures, that flimsy slot broke. Unfortunately the only way to keep the shoe from slipping on my heels is to tie the laces uncomfortably tight. Of course even that won’t work now since the shoe is broken.

I wear these every day!

I am in love with your shoes! I bought my first pair maybe about a year ago, I now have 3 pairs of sneakers, 2 ladies slip ons and a pair of sandals! I still struggle with some issues with my feet mostly due to some prior injuries, but these are the only shoes I have had in years that I can wear all day and not immediately want to tear them off the second I get home! I feel like my feet have gotten stronger since I’ve been wearing your shoes and my balance and center of gravity is way more balanced when I’m walking around. I am not a runner, just a gal who needed to try something new, and I’m so glad I found these shoes.

Great for powerlifting

I wear these shoes for powerlifting and they are perfect! They are true to size. I have a slightly wide toe-box and they feel great. The shoe is very flexible, I feel like I am walking on the ground, nothing rubs in any sort of uncomfortable way, and I feel even more stable in my lifts when I am wearing these shoes, without compromising the benefits of lifting barefoot. These feel like I am barefoot, and the laces allow me to feel nice and secure on my shoe. I have been very impressed with this shoe. I tried a lot of different brands, and this one was the best for me. The price was better than most barefoot shoes as well.

Awesome minimalist sneaker for any activity

These shoes are incredibly comfortable out of the box and continued conforming to my feet. Fit true to size and excellent heel lock. Lightweight and sufficient tread for light trails. I could walk forever in them! Flexible soft soles & ample toe box (especially relative to their other shoes which I find too narrow). Breathable. Quick to dry insoles. I used to have plantar fasciitis and never would have thought I’d have less heel pain converting to a minimalist shoe! Feels much less bulky and more comfortable to me than zero drop running shoes with excess sole.

not breathable

I was excited about these shoes because they're vegan and my current shoes have holes in the soles as I've worn them out so I've been looking at trying some wide toed shoes for the gym. well, I've worn these to the gym about 6 times now and my feet get SO hot and sweaty. I've never ever ever had sweaty or stinky feet in my 37 years of life until now; the shoes also smell like stinky feet. and I don't even do cardio or anything, just weight lifting. My husband also said they look like "little kids shoes" if that bothers you at all. I won't return these because I don't want them to get tossed but I wouldn't recommend them or buy another pair, sadly. As far as sizing, I have found my standard 8.5 carries over to this shoes as well.

Almost good

No issues with the overall quality and the toe box is nice and roomy, with lightweight, durable soles and no aggressive built-in arch support (which always hit me in the wrong place). But the fit of the upper is shallow and the tongue is long and this doesn't work with my high-arch, high-volume feet. In order for the shoes to feel secure, the laces have to be tied quite tightly and they irritate my high instep. If I loosened the laces to ease the pressure across the top of my foot, the shoes floated around and the heels slipped.

Good, comfy, not perfect

These are nice gym/lifting shoes. Very comfy and length sizing is perfect. I gave them 4 stars because the toe box is extra roomy on top of the toes. Yes, they're supposed to be wider for an ergonomic fit, but I have to cinch the laces tight at the toes and the extra fabric gathers. Although it's not enough to interfere with my foot at all. Maybe if you use them for hiking and wear thicker socks they'll be perfect. I do love the thickness of the sole, not too thick or thin. I've had barefoot shoes for lifting before but the soles were too thin for jogging in during a workout. I use these to jog a couple miles on the treadmill and they're just right, as a minimal shoe.

I love these shoes! I have a pronounced bunion on one foot and nothing ever felt good on that foot-until now! There is no pressure on the joint, no irritation. These are great for whatever you want to do and they are cute too!
