Very comfortable.
I really like this jacket. A good middle ground between emergency jacket (which can be hot and flimsy) and my older "commuter" jacket which is bulkier and looser. It was 55F and threatening rain when I wore this. Didn't get hot. The fabric is very soft and stretchy. I wear a 10-12 in women's tops and got the large. It is not too baggy but not skin tight. I had a thin long sleeve jersey underneath . I suppose if I really wanted a snug fit I could have tried the medium but this was comfortable and I could see using it over a sweatshirt for a hike as well, so the large works for my needs. Also it comes down over hips but does not have a true tail like some commuter jackets. I did not test this in the pouring rain but trust the brand and other reviews I read.
Light and warm
I purchased this jacket for cold weather rowing on the river. So far it has kept me comfortable with just a long sleeve performance tee underneath in 40 degree weather. It's great for biking and throwing on when I need an extra layer in the spring and fall.
