I've had these for a while now and have been super impressed by the durability and comfort! Main use has been day hikes in the summer and some backpacking. I found the comfort my favorite thing about these shoes! The knit is super soft and stretchy and surprisingly durable. The midsole is more flexible than some other boots out there, but I actually preferred that for the longer days on the trail. I would say there's a bit of sliding to the front of the shoe on super steep terrain, but nothing crazy. Overall, it's a great single day or multiday shoe. I also have a pair of the GTX version for the winter months here, essentially the same shoe, but with a waterproof membrane.
Really nice hiking shoes. The sockfit is snug and takes a bit of getting used to, in terms of both getting them on and just how they feel. I was worried I was getting a half size too small but it ended up being perfect. Compared to another pair of Adidas of the same size, these were a bit longer. Only had them a few weeks but have been putting lots of off trail hiking, side walk & dirt trail and so far the quality seems good. Love that they're made from recycled ocean plastic waste and really love the double toe cap; it saves your socks when walking across dewy meadows!
Were it not for the massive seams on the inside of the shoe right by the talus bone, this shoe would be the most comfortable I own. With the seams, tho, it was unwearable for more than an hour. Additionally, the lacing does not cinch down without causing tightness and pressure against the ankle. The primeknit is comfortable but loose to the point that there is no foot lockdown. Mobility through the forefoot and mid foot do not prevent overpronation or retrograde metatarsal movement, even with insoles. My toes slid into the front of the shoe and hit the front even on minor downward inclines. I love the look of the shoe and the comfort of the cushioning, but it is a clunky boot with more merit as stylish street wear than serious hiker.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seriously great comfort for Spring / Autumn walks. Easy to put on and lace up as required. This is not the Gore Tex version and I prefer this when it’s slightly warmer and not raining. The fabric breathes a little easier and is better for everyday wear. Support around the ankle is not too tight and enables this to be worn all day. Been using this for casual wear as well and it’s perfect for around town when the weather it not so good. Sizing is as expected for a walking shoe. It will feel a little large with thin socks but I would say it’s true to size vs any other walking shoes you have. On Long walks your feet will expand and I think the sizing is the right balance.
The whole design and construction of the shoe is well thought out. Added bonus is it uses recycled material . It’s looks very stylish and very light weight. It’s got ankle support so a bit not easy to get your feet in and out if you have thick socks but once feet in the shoe it feels comfortable, protected. Also a bit pricey.
I bought these to be a trail runner. I like the idea of the knit sock to keep debris out and give a small amount of support. These shoes do not work for real trails especial in the Catskills. There is no lateral support so with any side slope on a trail your foot slides over the edge There is no support in the toe so going down even just moderate steep throws your toes over the end I have a wide foot. The toe box is so wide that there again is not support to hold your foot from sliding around If you are in rail trails or dirt roads these shoes are fine but they are in no way a trail shoe I'm very disappointed they should not advertise these as trail hikers at all. Plus they are expensive.
Very comfortable hiking shoes that look great. The ankle padding is nice to have and keeps your feet from wobbling. The front of the shoe near the toes is protected and stiff enough in case you catch a rock or trip so you wont jam your toe. I recommend wearing thick socks.
Best hiking shoes I've ever worn. Feels great on foot, no signs of blisters after 60km hike. Only one thing worrying me is the sole. After 200km I noticed the sole have started to tear at the feel where the hard tension plastic is, had to put some rubberglue on it.
These hiking shoes are legit. They are super comfortable, really keep my foot locked in and look amazing. Glad I copped these!
Great color scheme that brings out your entire outfit. Very comfortable for a hiking boot. And the length is perfect.
