Good shorts

My experience having read other reviews: * I'm 6', 185 lbs waist is 35" - I ordered the 36" and it's exactly what I expected- a little loose. * Want to use for running, swimming, hiking... was very surprised no draw string nor the button attached to the flexible fabric (like other MH pairs), material just a bit noisy as it's water resistant * got the 9" inseam - the 'hips' of these are a bit baggy from my other closet full of MH shorts... and plenty of room in the legs - maybe the shorter inseam have less room? Will have to wear a belt when I wear them but that's okay - fabric great, all pockets (4) have a zipper closure, good pair of shorts.

Built for non athletes?

I bought these shorts for multiple uses.i normally wear a 38 inch waist and decided to order a 40 inch so that would fit better, since past experience has taught me that the sizes run smaller. The waist was comfortable but around the thighs it is very tight reminiscent of the tight shorts worn by school coachs. it seems that the shorts are made for people who don't play sports like Soccer or football, lift or ride MTB. Any one sport that grows thighs. Fortunately the material allows it to stretch so if you dont mind it tight it'll work.

Am I Fat

Everything about these shorts I enjoy. When I walk around in them, climb or ride bicycle I'm happy. But when I sit down in my tv chair, it gets quite tight in the low abdomen. I end up having to unbuttoning them when I go to watch tv. Other than that, if you don't own a tv or a chair, these are the shorts for you.

Great summer shorts

Material is great for hot days. The fit is a little smaller in the waist than the AP pant. I wear a 33 waist in the AP pant and needed a 34 in these. I'm encoutered a similar scenario with the AP trousers. Maybe something changed in the sizing. Not an issue, just something to be aware of.

Function and Quality

These shorts are amazing. Great range of motion and extremely fast drying. Only gripe would be that they run a tad small (5'9 170, normally a 30), but with some more wear they'll be muy perfecto.

Great versatile shorts!

Fabric is amazing. Super lightweight and repel water pretty good. Would totally recommend. Only issue is the leg space, runs wide so makes shorts a little baggy
